Yep, was hard work though.

It was fun literally blow up entire groups by myself though, the 24k tethers were op.

I could literally tether back to back 3-4 times if i killed enough people.

lol, too much time required and very little reward given. Chances are you'll be dethroned with in hours anyways. A lot of these elites are basically running the show on the campaigns that actually matter any how..

Beautiful Dirt - First DC Empress of Trueflame (magicka nb) when the campaign came out, reigned for about 12 hours before the EP zerg came and I died still on the flags after depose -_-

Despair - Currently Sorcerer DC Empress of Azura's Star, have been reigning almost 3 days now.

Yes. I came in #2 on Thornblade for about 6 months in a row, and was #1... and gunning for it. And then another guy joined, and started out-ranking me in AP by an insane amount. I was about to give up, and just quit PVP altogether because month after month of coming in second had worn me down. I managed to get it thanks to the help of some awesome people.

I lasted about 6 hours (granted, I think I was the ONLY DC on the server at the time...)

Congrats. I held mine for almost a day, and got dethroned when I was asleep lol. Right before I signed off I held it for ~12 hours plus some more when I was off.

I PvP sometimes, not that often. The closest Ive ever been was 12th in line. But Im not really after becoming Emperor/Empress. That would be more of a side bonus to just having fun doing PvP. I dont know if a lot of the lag has been fixed or not, but the lag has killed PvP a lot.

Nope. I've helped two others push the map and become Emp in Thornblade a year ago...that was difficult, incredibly rewarding AND wow...at the time a huge AP investment buying siege/repairs just so someone else could get the achievement..with little sleep but incredibly FUN!

However, when I tried to make a push and was first on the leaderboard with the same group about 5 months later, it was clear that it just wasn't going to happen. People in my own faction were slowing any progress we could make and it was a waste of the AP to continue. My friends even stated so 6-7 hours in as they left to go do other things.

It seems there's a group of players in each faction that just...own the rights to what happens in each campaign on xbone NA..which is why.....it's the same names over and over with the title. Sad to say, but I'm not in the "in" crowd with any faction, and cant pay a million gold..sooooo, that will be one achievement I won't have the honor of getting.

Nope, the only kills I get are from fully charged heavy arrows from stealth with the poison injection combo. If that doesn't kill my enemy I run. Spend most of my time in Cyro dead haha. I'm a lost cause.

I think it's pretty stupid they've tied an achievement to this. Getting emperor either means gettnig a load of players to boost you or to play 24/7.

I actually have a job and a life and it's a shame knowing i'll never get this achievement.

I also think its stupid that emperors can stay at the top of the leaderborad for their faction the entire campaign, which means people below will never get emperor. As soon as you get emp, your points should reset to 0

Nope.

I don't care about PvP in the slightest bit in ESO (other than the opinion that any/all PvP is completely unnecessary in MMO's, and is actually detrimental to this genre of game...), and I care about getting Emperor even less.

Even if I found a miraculous love for PvP tomorrow, I still wouldn't give two *** about Emperor/Empress. It's a completely worthless part of the game IMO.

It's not gonna happen ever, even if I dedicate enough time to it nowdays people just seem to be boosting. It's a shame I really want to achieve emperor not because of the passives. I want the emperor's armor costume and the color dye but won't ever happen.

I lack the requisite skill and the necessary time to get crowned Emperor honestly. Heck, I probably lack the skill needed to get it dishonestly. Anyway, too many people got the title via Emp-trading for it to be worth anything really unless your name is Fixate or one of the other handful of players that got the title during early access.

I got it only once on my main. Had to forget about sleeping around two whole weeks non stop. I am mostly casual so I pursued it on my vacations. Else, it would have been impossible.

Now, I dont know if I could try for it again. I see people who can get 250k in just one hour while I do just 100 AP in the same frametime. When I get around these people suddenly I am gaining AP on the 100k-120k range without doing nothing. Sounds fishy.

Anyone who can do it while having a job and/or going to college and regularly interacting with family and friends, and without boosting or trading has really accomplished something. I won't belittle their accomplishment by denying that.

However ... it hasn't been thirty days since myself and two other players caught a group boosting an Emperor - and one of the players involved had a name I see regularly on this forum (not accusing, it could be coincidence). Of course, when they saw us, they rushed over to kill us and then logged off immediately - like the entire group.

It happens.

It's best to just wait until the campaign resets and go and farm as much ap as possible until your guild comes on and you can push.

Yes, but it's doesn't really count. It was an opposing faction's buff server and there were only maybe 20 active blues that homed there. It was easy to make leaderboard without trying.

The push took longer to convince people to help with than it took to actually happen, and it took even less time for yellow to flip it back.

Yup, first emp after TG patch on BwB. Wouldn't have been possible without @DeadlyRecluse and @Adenoma . My guild helped crown them both that week. As a thank you to me, they both dropped camp and crowned me : )) I am still grateful for the opportunity. Truly awesome dudes! HAIL NIGHT BLADER!
