Nah, Dawnbreaker of Smiting going physical is whatever. Sorcs have their damage morph of Negate, and that's the only other class that used to be dependent on Dawnbreaker.

Lol, check my signature block. I play a magicka and stamina version of each toon. I am unbiased one way or the other.

Stam toons can and still do use Meteor for its range. Plus Radiant Magelight is still effective on stam toons in PvP and can empower your next attack.

Having a magicka morph of Dawnbreaker is really the only way magicka toons will benefit from the Fighters Guild tree and the only way they will get the extra damage to undead, deadra, and werewolves. This is necessary not only for PvP but for PvE also as many of the dungreons are undead/deadra. I like that they are scaling Dawnbreaker to physical. But they cannot and should not exclude magicka toons from FG when FG isnt meant to be a stamina skill line but rather a counter undead skill line. And as I said, no stam toon is going to run Smiting anyway since Flawless gives the passive wpn dmg buff.

Stamina need stamina morph - standart of might with poison dmg.

Then make ice comet stamina morph..

On the topic: no. I dont think everything should be balanced to the point all builds are the same/can use same skills. I think ultimates should be varied, some phisical dmg others magic. Stamina is behind on this point as it is and Dawnbreaker is a slight improvement.

Why there are so many other ultimates you can use in the game, just go use Meteor.

Although a derailment from the threads topic, my issue isn't about diversity or even about buffing stam. I play stam.

My issue is about ruining what FG is...a universal skill line to combat the undead and deadra. It is now a stam buff skill line.

I love the stam buffs, but they should not cut magicka out of the extra dmg to undead/deadra equation.

Stam still needs more class skill morph options, and the idea of weapon skill line ults would certainly add diversity, but magicka cannot and should not be excluded from the FG skill line.

Simply change Smiting to magic and make Slayer give both weapon and spell dmg.

Why stop there? Why not a stamina morph for standard? That does poison damage?

I am excited to try out a stam poison DoT DK. I would absolutely support changing Shifting Standard (which I don't think anyone uses) to a physical poison morph of Standard of Might

well thats why you use bats. If you arent a vamp as a mDK, you are going to struggle.

Jokes aside, there is nothing wrong with players wanting diversity. I think every skill should have a third morph option so as not to infringe upon the current options but still offer a stamina/magicka alternative.

This is a great idea, albeit a resource intensive one for ZOS.

well thats why you use bats. If you arent a vamp as a mDK, you are going to struggle.

Bats isn't burst though, and it's more expensive.
