vMA and vDSA loots should drop at Normal

vMA and vDSA vet items should drop at normal difficulty with low drop rate and blue rarity, why its not same like the daily pledges? we get silver key and gold key its same as normal and veteran difficulty and each key drops monster items, gold key chest has a higher chance and a purple rarity as the silver chest has lower chance and a blue rarity. I played vMA and vDSA and already give up to many times, I don't want to tear my self up just to beat this trials. Let us play the difficulty that we can and we cant with rewards that matter. normal MA and DSA is not even that easy to finish and it drops more like nothing its kinda useless to make normal trials when the only thing rewarding is the vet difficulty witch is really not for all players, the only players i saw who beat those vet trials are those who put up tons of hours into it. and some of us cant really put that time and effort to beat it. Sorry for bad English.

The color is irrelevant. The cost to upgrade an item from white to purple is pocket change.
The problem with weapons dropping from nMA is that nMA is so mind-numbingly easy. So easy that I could beat it with no deaths and no sigils while wearing no armor and no jewelry. nMA is good as a solo grind spot (I used it to level two characters during cake week), but it offers no challenge. Should BiS weapons be rewarded to people who grind zombies in Sentinel? Because that's what dropping weapons in nMA would be like.
That said, I might support the idea if nMA dropped weapons rarely at VR14. But not if it drops at VR15 and definitely not if it's VR16. ✭✭The reason normal DSA and normal MA don't drop the same loot as normal except blue is because why would you ever run Veteran? You'd just farm normal to get the loot instead.
Better loot dropping in harder content is an MMO staple. You can complete all end-game content with crafted gold gear (yes, even Veteran Maw of Lorkhaj) so the "we need it so we can clear it" doesn't really work.
As with all MMOs, the hardest content drops the best loot.2 -
NativeJoe✭✭✭✭✭Eh, I think there should be a high cost token system. If you Truly cannot complete VMA...then 1 token per try and 100 a piece to get the piece you truly want, with the traits you want. Same goes for the rest of the dungeons. If I run ICP 100 times, get all the traited items I need/want except for 1 because of rng, I want a token cash in system to pay for that 1 elusive rng garbage.
IMO thats the best way to solve this entire issue. If you Honestly cannot complete it... and you spend an hour or more trying... here's a token. I have sympathy. You just have to give it a honest full hearted go. I want this implemented like yesterday. My condolences to those that have farmed for their undaunted sets for Months and got literally jack ***.650cp+ Sorcerer 100+ days /played

Gear doesn't matter in normal MSA. Maybe it sounds hard, but if someone cannot beat nMSA he has to change/improve his playstyle/reactions/etc first...
edit: The best equip should be rewarded for doing the best content. None of this equip is actually needed for completing any content in TESO. So it's just optional. A VR14/15 MA weapon would be useless as even with the enchantment it would be behind in terms of damage compared to a properly setted and crafted VR16 weapon.1 -

Ofc we do vMSA for the loot. The weapons are important to minmax DPS.
But if you make the BiS gear available in the normal instance, why would someone bother running vet?
And people who struggle in normal can hardly blame gear. They should be blaming their gameplay and understanding of mechanics. You don't need to be max geared to do normal. Not even for veteran. You need to understand the mechanics and you need to know how to DPS properly while also being survivable and prioritizing the right target. A Maelstrom weapon won't help you with that. All I see is that people want the Maelstrom weapons because they think they'll help them in any way. They won't. They do increase your DPS by a bit, but that's it. That won't help you getting things done at all.
Normal is meant as a training instance to get a feeling for it. Veteran is the challenge. The challenge that rewards you occasionally with one of the Maelstrom weapons. Deal with it.Susano'o

Um. Maelstrom weapons are not needed to beat Maelstrom. Otherwise, how would anyone get them in the first place? Beating vMA is about skill and practice. If you think that a piece of gear is going to make up for a lack of player skill, then you don't understand vMA.
Also, if someone can't complete normal Maelstrom, then, to put it bluntly, they need to learn to play. I can beat nMA wearing NO armor or jewelry of any kind. You absolutely don't need "9 trait research" to beat nMA because you can beat it with a naked character, if you know what you're doing. On the other hand, you can give someone a bag full of all the best golden gear in the game and 501 CP, but if he has no idea how to actually play the game and think that light-attacking with a bow while standing perfectly still is awesome, he's not going to beat nMA.
