It will allow mobs to spawn with in one second after death which allowing you to get 1.5 million XP per hour end results of this. If asking for money to leave somebody alone was ok and I just wanted to know if this Behavior was acceptable and if zos will do anything about it. If not. what's stoping people from doing the same thing yet on a bigger scale and now holding his zone hostage now this is something people want to tolerate.
And nobody has answered the real question that I've been asked do you want this to happen to you?

Well, fair enough, and the way to go in a pvp zone - gank the ganker - the old bait and kill mechanics.

That's how I use my Nightblade. Wait for gankers to pick on PVE players in the sewer.
Shepard watching his flock.
Its never happened to me because I'm not bad. However, its probably gonna happen to some people on xbox NA now that I've got the idea in my head

He proceeded to tell me to send him 20K gold for each member in my group and only then he would leave us alone. Does this sound like a part of the game that should be allowed to happen? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I'm not butthurt,as I am not fool enough to go somewhere where people like you go to harass others.
Having said that,I dont approve of harassment in any form,no matter how you want to pretend it's just gameplay. Not stopping when someone else asks you to is a total case of Harassment.Period.
Go gank whoever you want, but it wont be me,I assure you.
I'm beginning to see why some people love IC so much.So they can take advantage of others.Or for the fun of ganking and taking.

Me a lonely red heading to the bone shard vault. Seems quiet enough for me to trundle my way to the shiny and await my ever glorious prize.
But what's this a group of yellows that look to me for a fight. I stood still and let them kill me 5 or 6 times until they got the hint that, me, a lonely fellow was just trying to cross the bridge of happiness towards the shiny door of joy.
So happy that they had let me live. I made my way over to see a group of about 10 blues (ish) and was hoping the same out come would happen. NO THEY BLOODY KILLED ME over and over again and wouldn't let me get into the door even though I had messaged them to say please and all I got was a HAHAHA in return.

This extortion issue using game mechanics for ingame currency is not an issue that should be taken out of the game, it should be dealt with by the players in the game. Get protection, or find another grind spot.
I don't agree with the method, as a player, but I see it as fair game in a cutthroat atmosphere like the Imperial Sewers.
Killing someone over and over and over and then demanding gold from them to stop doing it goes against it. It "causes distress and ruins the other users' experience" which is forbidden by 2.5.
You you need to grow a pair and stop being such a candy ass. Other players don't need to conform to your playstyle wishes. If you make the choice to go to a PvP zone knowing the risk that you could and would be killed that's on you. The OP got killed and qq'd to the PvPer, if anything the PvPer should have reported the OP for harassing him and trying to RUIN HIS EXPERIENCE by qq'n and trying to get him to stop PvPing in a PvP zone.newtinmpls wrote: »

If you can't stomach IC go elsewhere. You have options. Game isn't forcing you to pvp in IC. Mats can be farmed n other ways. If you don't like the pvp game mechanics play a different game. If you people are so sensitive that you can't handle ganking in a video game that's a personal problem and I advise you to seek counseling. The ganker was not rude or committed RL harassment. He is playing an evil character commiting a heist within the bounds of the game. If you feel harassed from him asking for gold, put him on ignore and move on. Extortion would be if he knew you in rl and tried to extort real $$$. Not roleplaying in a video game.

Amazing. I would hope that people wouldnt want to let this grow.Eventually,no one will go where this can be done to them. Not IC,and not Cyrodiil. It will only further the bad name of PvPers who do this for their own fun. So,who will they gank if no one ever wants to go there? As to the TV stones, soon people will stop going for them.So where will they get all those stones then? They'll have to get them for yourselves.
I'm not speaking of you,as a player.Judas.
