Asking for gold to leave someone alone when they are grinding in IC
So I was in IC grinding on mobs when I found this 1 player constantly killing me over and over again. I asked for him to please stop killing me and to let us grind. He proceeded to tell me to send him 20K gold for each member in my group and only then he would leave us alone. Does this sound like a part of the game that should be allowed to happen? Has this ever happened to anyone else?

I would say I'm a bad player just had V1 gear and didn't want to make gear for V15 and i had 1/2 a level to go to V16.1

Not sure it counts as harassment, since OP asked to be left alone in a PVP zone. The PVPer named a cost for OP's request.

✭✭The number 1 reason people die in IC is because they don't repair their armor. Broken armor means zero mitigation. As one guildie said, "most players are just one Ulti away from death." Zos should never have mixed pve and pvp in the same zone. The least they could do is allow armor to be undamaged from mobs there.14 -

Oh I agree, at 100% gear integrity in the Arboretum District I can manage 3 enemy players and ads on my tanky magicka DK light armor build but once I hit the sewers and my gear is suffering from an hour and a half of trophy grinding just one player can kill me.
Another thing is, that as you gear gets damaged your resources suffer as well so even if you want to you can't truly defend yourself as much as you want to.

Zorrashi✭✭✭✭✭I'm not saying I support that tactic or anything, but I can't really blame the guy for killing easy prey in a PvP area (even though it is in poor taste).
I suppose you can make a case to the devs about how he may be intentionally extorting you, but that will only work if its apparent that he's camping your grinding spot for the sole purpose of stopping your grind (as opposed to say, getting PvP kills for AP).3 -

There's plenty you can do. I pvp all the time and I can count on 1 hand how many times I've died to this combo. Try blocking2 -
