One in each faction. Spread over 3 classes. Don't do sorcs.

I level them normally but I don't chase completionist achievements with them. So main quest, skyshards, dolmens (until FG rank 10), lorebooks (until MG rank 10), chests/thievery (until Legerdemain rank 20), etc. I do a mix of PvE & PvP depending on the character.

Maybe it's the anti grind in me but how do you not want to find the tallest building in your city with an accessible roof to jump off of repeating that same content that many times?

I'd be waiting up a block from a bus stop so I could paint myself on the bumper about halfway through my second character.

Within a week of starting the game I had 8 characters made, all different races, two of each class, all designed to (eventually) be playable characters, even with backstories made up for all of them. I could probably do a stamina/magicka split with each class, although in a couple of cases that would give less than optimal racial synergy or not really go with a character's backstory. But I can work that out down the road.

I currently play on my main character, who is also my equipment crafter, and I've done the starter area on my secondary character, who is my consumables crafter. The others are just mules at this point. I decided to play straight through Silver and Gold on my main character for continuity purposes rather than switching to other characters to level them to 50. I'm also (still) waiting for my boyfriend to get off his duff and start playing with my secondary character so she can do more than daily writs.

So eventually I could maybe qualify for the last option, and at this point I'm closer to the second option in actual practice if not intent, but I can see myself eventually leveling at least one character of each class just to try out different playstyles and class roles.

I only do PvE (although I'll venture into Cyrodiil for Alliance War skills eventually). I do everything in every zone, which is the main reason why I'm still in the middle of Silver on my first character almost 6 months in.

Have 10 v16 toons 6 on main account 3 on other. I will eventually get the last 2 toons on my main account to v16 (ones level 4 other is level 32) my main toon is also my crafter. Yeah I know I could have spill it up some but I rather have a one stop shop if I'm gonna craft stuff and I have plenty of skill points on her cause I did all quest that gave sp, collected all skyshards. I play all my v16 toons on my main account regularly. I do daily pledges on them. I also like the fact that it keeps the game fresh for me. As I get to play diff roles/play styles on each. A couple of the toons I have are strictly for pvp so o don't have to change Cp around as well as attributes every time I do one or the other.

I love all my characters equally, and I play them all. But sometimes I have to delete one of them for a new brilliant being to be created. What I want to say is that 8 character slots is not enough!

Please ZOS give us the chance to buy more slots!!

I've got the 8 characters in my sig ranging from VR4 to VR16, plus 16 other characters ranging from level 20 to level 30.

I have a VR14 NB which was my one and only main before I had to take a break. I didn't particularly enjoy it back then because NB's were weak in both PvP and PvE and at the time there was some weird builds floating around that I didn't enjoy. Tanking was fun but that's about it.

When I came back nothing much had changed for NB's, they are a lot stronger but the builds aren't what I expected of the class (Read: Mageblade) the whole min/max thing kind of ruined it.

Anyway, I got loads of achievments so it seemed a shame to waste them since I had done all research, all quests, all anchors etc on that character so I retired her and use her for crafting.

Made a Templar healer now which I am totally loving I'm glad to say!

How do people have time for Alts! I've ploughed 300+ hrs and I'm only Vet 7. Single toon for me. I maybe missing out on content but I'll never know.

I started with my main character and feel as if I've put a lot of work into him, had the most with him and been on strange adventures with him too. I like putting the time and effort into the one character to make them the best they can be. I tryed making a second to use for hirings and then maybe develop it further. But the thought of starting over seems like a huge effort and pain, so I doubt I'll be doing that anytime soon. Plus when playing the second character I feel as if this is time wasted and anything I gain is pointless if it doesn't help my main character.

Over 1600 hours of game play, across 2 years.

I have 8/8 on both the EU and NA servers on my main account and a bunch more on my second account; I play pretty much every class/build combination, some more than once, although many of them I haven't leveled very high yet.

This was my intention at least... but having created and deleted numerous characters... I get easily bored most of the time after reaching a certain level. Currently I'm happy with my Stam Sorc Caldien... I've given him enough weapon options that I don't find myself getting bored because of doing the same time of combat all the time... now I have a variety- and thanks to PC add-on AlphaGear, I can switch to whatever weapon loadout I want (outside of combat).

However, I still have a couple of alts that I plan to work on leveling to at least level 50 next week with the 'Anniversary Cake' XP boost... that way when VR Ranks go away, I won't have to worry about questing to max level again with them. Especially my poor Dunmer DK crafter... he's been sitting at level 23 for months because I have no desire to play him- but because of all the crafting investment I've put into him, I am not going to delete him. With the anniversary special, I can justify taking a shorter amount of time to level him up to 50.

I have 6 characters I play. That's 1 for each craft, 2 for each alliance. 3 Are VR, 3 are sub-vet.

I also have 2 mules.

The only downside is I enjoy just playing around with Character Creator, and I can't do that with all slots full.

I have 8 toons on xbox 3 vet 16s 3 other vets. and then on PC i have 3 toons but only one vet.
