Do you have 1 character or alts?

So I decided to make 1 character that does everything, and am up to 289 skill points. I'll eventually make alts for hirelings, but I don't see myself ever investing any time in making alts that I will ever really play with. How about you?

I will at least have 1 of each class

I have 8 vets of 3 different classes from across the realms and of 8 different races.

I originally had 2 of each class at vet level but dropped 2 to restart from scratch.

Kinda a mix of the last 2 options. I guess I wanted to start with a mag and a stam version of each class, just wishing for 2-4 extra character slots, even if that ain't gonna happen anytime soon.

I have all 8 on EU fully leveled and one on NA. And I play with most of them so they're not just for hirelings/banks.

Don't think I could ever do just one character. One of the reasons I probably won't go to CU.

Currently at 4 vets (2 vet16s and 2 vet1s). One of each class. Also have 4 more alts already created to make the opposite (stamina/magicka) version of that class, but those remaining 4 are all level 3..

Time to grind my vet1 Sorc to vet16

I have 2 vet level characters and an assortment of other alts. My main for a long time was a Templar but he felt underpowered in vet levels so I dropped him at V3 and started a new character in December, a mag Sorc. The sorc is now my V16 main but I do play the others occasionally for something different. But the sorc has all the crafting abilities. I supposed I could use the others as mules as well but that's annoying with all the logging in and out.

I have 8 chars most of them are Templars one is dps one tank one healer haha but am taking a liking to my magicka sorc lately(and no I havnt even unlocked the shield yet )

I have 1 of each but havn't logged on my sorc since I made him and my templar and DK have I not logged on since october.

I only play on my crafter and main
I find ESO to make alt playing really boring with SP locked behind quests, skills locked behind both PvE and PvP and the mount skill system(Wow is much better where you get mount speed at certan levels instead of 1% a day as ESO have, same with talent points which are also locked to levels in WoW. But I am not going back there now when I am free of my Wow adiction)

I will only ever play 1 character

I have a sorcerer since release that is my main and recently started to roll an alt. My sorc is lvl 50 in all crafting disciplines and nearly has all traits researched as well. My alt is only played when I am getting bored of dailies and dungeons and want some questing. He is barely level 25 and I had him for months. So can't really say that I am rolling an alt seriously.

If they wsnt 5 k from me for a half a banker, bundle him with 2 more alt slots.

I will at least have 1 of each class

7 playable, 5 mules, 2 accts. Of the playables they are VR16 stamblade, VR14 stamsorc, VR10 magtemplar, VR3 magtemplar, VR1 stamdk, L40 magsorc, & L25 stamtemplar. At least one of each race including Imperial, two Orcs and two Altmer.

I do have a main that I'm most fond, but like running the dailies with all my alts for great variety (and hopefully more chances at shiny loot). It's very interesting to me to try crazy builds and make them viable. If they ever add another class, I hope they add a couple more character slots...

Not really, see signature, currently levelling a stam DK. Tried a Templar once, didn't like it.

I have 4 Mains, all at VR16 for each class. I can switch them out to Magic or Stamina as I see fit

I have 4 mules, but I am leveling one to VR just because. The others are L5/L5 with 4 points to get to L6 and L12 and they are mules who run hirelings and hold my swag.

2 swing-slots for non-vet PvP, class experiments, etc.

In any RPG played with others online I think its best to play each class so I have until VR1.

I do have a main that does all crafting and has some huge amount of Skill points as I have all crafting, all class skills and then some armor, weapon and guild skills as well with about 10 pts left over.

You can have more if you get the more expensive packages, but the most basic one is only one character, yeah.

Kind of hard to pick. I make one main first. The alts are for either fun or just to try out making an interesting character, or for playing when I don't want to play on my main for whatever reason. Don't really use my alts as mules or for crafting, although technically I use 2 of them as "bite mules" you could say xD I made extra werewolf characters to give more free bites each week in order to help people.

I have settled, after trying various alternatives, to a sorceror in each alliance and the others as crafters/mules. I don't like the idea of playing nice in a different alliance as if I belonged there so I am going through each as part of that alliance.

So for those with active alts, do you just get the main quest and 50 skill points on them? Do you mostly PvP or PvE?

I level them normally but I don't chase completionist achievements with them. So main quest, skyshards, dolmens (until FG rank 10), lorebooks (until MG rank 10), chests/thievery (until Legerdemain rank 20), etc. I do a mix of PvE & PvP depending on the character.

I always end up playing my v16. Every time.
