Actually I was fine with the RD ticks being dodgeable. The problem was that the Templar got locked into the channel cast for the full 3 second channel without doing any damage at all. That was lame.
I am totally cool with being able to dodge 1 seconds worth of ticks by dodging. Timed right it could be 2/4 ticks dodged.
That 20% chance to dodge 1 second of the 2.9 second duration wont really help, setting up a barrier or purge for a stam build is helpful but you will lose out on a necessary ability. Blocking helps but that reduces your stamina. Yes only terrible players use the skill at 100% hp. That is quite obvious. This is just giving terrible players the incentive to be able to kill with a execute ability. Do I want templars to be useless? No. All i'm trying to say is that if a skill is blatantly broken, then there should be some adjustments to it, whether it was reverted back to working as a execute or complete nerf of the ability. TBH, the skill did seem useless, only because some templars use it at 100% to I guess mark a target? Is whatever though, i'm have a v6 templar and a v16 stam dk, i don't know what i'm talking about it seems.

I think the people complaining mostly is because of those who hides in zergs with 3-4 templars spamming jesusbeam at max range, where you can't interupt it, or block (since then OOS) or dodgeroll it.
Don't think anyone complains about it when there is equal numbers or 1v1's.
Yes 3-4 snipes when you are outnumbered will kill you aswell, or 3 crystal frags. But atleast those you can dodge from range.

That's probably what most people are annoyed at. I rarley see peopel spam killersblade/executioner/mages fury when people are at almost or full health. Only jesusbeam :P

I know you are trying to prove a point here... but if you don't weave in any attacks with the others you are not comparing them properly. Radiant cannot weave anything in, while all of those others can, which greatly reduces their kill time.

weaving is adding extra damage o.o. That might be false calculations too since you are using light attacks/medium attacks to count as the damage of executioner/killers blade/endless fury. I think jules intention was to test the raw damage of the skill without weaving but animation canceling. ani canceling actually cuts down the time of executioner by a considerable amount especially for me in pvp. by the time i do 1 regular executioner, i can do 2 with block canceling.

Stats and gear would divulge that the test wasn't actually a test and artificially proved only the results she wanted to find. There's more accurate criticism in the thread she made, but a run down:
- no LA weaves with the other executes, something you can't do with RD
- no consideration of the easier and more abundant counters RD suffers from that the others do not
She was looking for a nerf to the skill, and then posts a pic of her NB with ~4k mregen, ~47k magicka, ~3.5k spell damage, ~50% crit - because balance yo, it's what we're after.

Not sure if anyone else said this, but you forgot one @Mrs_Quietus, Explosive charge is also an interrupt iirc.
Overall good summary glad your on team templar.
Toppling charge is there. But explosive charge has an AOE interrupt.
Shame it doesn't work...
