The changes to Alliance War skill line leveling may have a bigger impact on BWB than cp removal. Now prox det will be available to anyone who's spent a couple hours in Cyrodiil, instead of something rarely seen in non vet.

I fear prox blobs will be as common on BWB as they are on Azura's.

So yeah, inevitable det, good spell on magicka sorc. Running with 8.8k stamina tho, not so great. That killed magicka builds for me. Anyone else lost a ufkcton of stamina? I cant roll dodge even once bc if I do I get killed after one cc.

What is everyones first impression of the new CP-free BwB?

I think we're going to see a nice shift from bursty builds to sustainable builds. Having 3k/4k+ spell/weapon damage is going to take a backseat when people start realizing they can't manage their resources without the regen they gained from CPs previously.

Last night I came across a hero who used to scare the crap out of me whenever I saw him on the battlefield. Just like before he came at me hard and I thought I was done for. I went into defense/heal mode as usual but this time shortly after his initial onslaught he basically stopped attacking and tried to just land a few heavy attacks on me. I hit Burning Talons... no dodge roll LOL... applied more dots, heavy attack to Take Flight and watched his life drain away. This was followed by great satisfaction (mostly because of the insane amount of times he had stomped me into the ground before).

I only spent a couple hours in there so far but I like what I see.

Patched then immedietely started crashing with Azura's type lag. Had to pass my group off. Cads took Pugz & she did great though! I hope today when I get on it is better. Dixon, congrats on your emp! It was a nice swift easy one, I'm sorry I wasn't around to help hold it.

Yea AD was swarming last night for sure (at least when I was on it was 3 bars to 1). I found that sometimes just blocking the explosion was a lot more efficient than trying to avoid every red circle, especially if you have to roll to do it. Granted I am pretty tanky compared to most players out there.

As far as using my newly acquired Proxy Det... I just can't fit it into my build effectively. I tried it out for a few encounters but damn that 1.8s cast time is something that will take me a long time to get used to.

Loving the buffs to mag DK though. I feel a lot more effective DPS-wise than I ever did before.

campaign is better with no CPs. No more ridiculous sustain builds running around, resource management is actually a thing now, at least in my experience.

Yet I still get tbagged when I take someone down with at least 4 others attacking me.

So ends my reign. Was a good run...2hrs short of 2 days. Thank you AD for the opportunity. To Dc and Ep...that last battle was epic, so much fun. : ))

You see a lot of magicka templars because they run in groups. I've encountered those very same templars on 1v1 situations and they cant do anything. They just sit there and take hits while they heal with the occasional spear OR they hold long enough for their group of 5+ to come back and help him. [snip]

Some people on my group got really pissed and that and rolled argonian nightblades made to zerg bomb. And we're succeding so far. We're gonna keep doing it as long as zergs exist so yeah. GL to everyone!

If that's what you call a zerg, then what can we call the 50+ people AD group?

I'd love to be joining you guys but Lee and I have not been able to log in since the patch. We've had to reinstall... don't even ask. Yes, our pc's are DirectX 11 compatible. Can someone on my behalf please let Daemonetta know that we'll be back as soon as we can as I have no other way to contact him. I sincerely hope DC are stomping as usual.

Mainly, for that reason it took me 5 hours (off peak time) to lead a DC pug group to dethrone AD emperor so action can be more balanced around the map.

For AD leaders, please don't make +15 people groups when there is barely enemy players around, kills the action. By far you are the most populated faction atm. The time of 1v+4 it's pretty much over.

For those who are complaining that magicka builds are screw... Please open your eyes, 90% of the players now runs a magicka build (mostly Templars.)
