i am actually thinking of staying away from this game for some time, to not have to see the drama unfold.

this is actually a game breaking issue - you just don't see this yet - if one activity, which can be camped on top of it, is providing more income than any other, then more and more will focus on this activity and let go on the others, because those are no longer fun to do - too much gold gets into the system and an inflation is happening - this is a disaster actually.

Do you know that while you are wasting time by doing that you can earn 4 times that money with about 6 other ways ingame? You know how?? camping too XD and zerging.

8 x 140 items = 1120 items with those 8 characters you have - each worth at least 40 gold makes 44.8k gold. What is roughly 10 times more than I can currently make with doing writs - so why would I even want to do writs? but why would I want to do camping? - why would I even want to play this game, if it is not fun anymore.

Besides, crafting writs give gold tempers. kutas and surveys, as well as nirncrux.
So what, you can just buy that stuff with enough money, no need to actually work for it - you see, too much money in the game is bad.
You actually would have to sit there doing nothing, for such a laughable reward. You wont get champion points, you wont get any experience for your char, and you wont have any fun. Dont you think it is a bit much? I wouldnt do it, I earn enough gold just by playing the game and having fun.And I'd recommend you to do it as well instead of bashing people who "get too much gold".
And this game's economy is problematic, but not because people have too much gold, but because there's not much tradeable goods and there's not enough gold sinks. And it wont become any better until those issues are solved.
I am fairly new, casual player and low level - I have a different perspective on this than you, because my options are by far more limited that yours. This is not comparable really.
Edit. you are right as far as the economy goes - there is a reason why EVE online has such a good and vibrant economy - CCP actually bothered to have a actual economist in their team to have an eye on it and suggest changes or measures to let it not get out of bounds. And it is awesome to do economy pvp in that game.
Well, eso economy is not about my point of view. And speaking about new players and casuals... Maybe this was actually needed? For high level player with millions of gold in their bank 6k is not a big deal, not even worth laundering (when I was going for "Black market mogul" achievemnt, I only picked green, blue and purple items, imo white items are not really worth it). But I often see people in Auridon who compalin about not being able to buy a mount or pay bounty, or sometimes even repair. Why cant those troves be an option for them?
That being said, I'd prefer them to be locked, to avoid bots.
In fact just the respawn timer would have to be fixed or a marker placed onto the player, that he cannot loot the same location again for some time. This would help with it and than I would be happy again - I just do not like campers, who exploit that.
"High level player with millions of gold in their bank" - now a happy camper with 8 chracters and low level can make about 1.2 million per month from those troves. Let just 10.000 people do that - then you have 12 billion gold more in the market - I call this an inflation.

There might be a mechanic in the respawn timers to happen faster if there are more players around. It seems like that in some places. Also, I have seen things like Heavy Sacks respawn almost immediately, but then don't respawn again for a long time. I know this because I camped on one 3 nights ago that respawn in seconds after I looted it, but did not respawn again for the 15 minutes I sat there, nor after a relog.
I have opened two of the Troves and got some Blue Set Piece rings and something else I did not remember as being too remarkable.

Yes my first impression was wrong - that is basically what I wanted to say with it. I was misled by the few samples I had in the morning, but after further testing it seems to be much better than I thought at first. I am one of those, who admit if they were wrong and that is why I stated that as well.

These Troves are in other zones?
Sorry, only been in Hews Bane and Orsinium since the update dropped.
There are a couple of issues with those troves - like I am not a member of the thief guild, I should not be able to open a trove. But I could - and I was given the thief guild quest line, without that I was in Hew's Bane or have any relation to it yet. And the troves respawn too often - this will make people camp the trove location and this will lead rather quickly to an inflation, where gold is worth pretty much nothing anymore. This has to change or it will be bad for the game overall.
