Increase drop rate for IC dungeon sets

Because why not?

The drop rate and trait RNG made these an immense pain to even attempt getting 5 pieces of. Some of the new sets are easier to obtain and are even improvements over these IC sets (eg Bahraha over Leeching), so why keep them all essentially locked away?

Drop rate needs to be 50% chance to get a gear piece per boss.

You will still need to run these dungeons 20 times to get a single set in the traits that you want. But it's better than the currently insane grind we have now.

    RNG BoP sucks so much.

I've run vWGT over 100 times by now. Probably even over 200. I don't know; I stopped counting a long time ago. I've run it so many times that my helm mule has 14 Kena helms.

I've gotten three infused SPC chest pieces, three divines SPC chest pieces, and a number of SPC chest pieces of other traits that I've deconned but zero SPC shoulder piece of any trait (not that I was planning to ever use the shoulder piece; I mention it solely for illustrative purposes). I've gotten three divines Imperium sabatons and a divines footwear of all the other sets, but zero divines SPC shoes (the one piece of SPC that I use that still isn't divines).

If you had gotten rid of this BoP nonsense, I could've traded those excess chest pieces for shoes. If you had a token system that actually made sense--instead of a token system that just granted yet another roll of **** RNG--then I would've gotten the pieces that I care about instead of yet another perfect-trait piece of something that I have multiple copies. If you had increased the drop rate, a stupid BoP RNG system wouldn't feel quite so bad. Take your pick. But do something about it.

These drop chances combines with the amount of different sets and trait variety makes it is almost impossible to get a set for hard core player, who does WGT or ICP 5-10 times per day. What is even worse that it becomes so hard to find ppl to farm these set, because all people i know are lost any hope in getting sets they want. For a casual player - you have no chance at all. If you are a casual player who can at least afford to do 1 run per day - you will NEVER EVER ACCOMPLISH FULL SET WITH GOOD TRAITS.
I don't know is it my poor luck, but in general i get about 2 set items per 5 runs (usually my team mates are not ready for more runs), what lead to 2 set items from 20 boss encounters, ad it is 10% drop chance.
I remember ZoS mentioned that they will buff drop chance till 30%, but i simply don't feel these 30%. Either they forgot to implement that drop chance buff, or they revert it back at some point (maybe by mistake). These needs to be locked in, RNG and ENDLESS GRIND kills my all motivation to play

I've ran WGT close to 80 times now, have had 1 helmet drop, 4 piece of Overwhelming, 4 pieces of spell power cure, loadssssss of essence theif and loadssssss of tanking gear.

I've had a few more Overwhelming and SPC pieces but all in bad traits.

The game is indeed way too grindy when it comes to obtaining sets. The goal should be to actually play the game, not grind something over and over again. Remove bind on pickup for most set items, increase the chance for good traits, include jewelry pieces, increase drop rate, reduce the cost of crafting v16 items.

I used to just PvP and have fun, and buy the sets I needed from the guild stores. These days, at least 50% of the ingame time is spent farming for things, and it is not enjoyable for me. I want to PvP, not farm. The current state of the grind also makes it very difficult for any of my guildies to return because they would have to have a lot of gold in their bank to be able to have a viable build for PvP. It's not like I can help them either, given how much I have to farm too to even be able to fit my own characters.

Its a pain in the a** to get to those pieces, especially for pvp players like me. I gave up a long time ago, making all new sets BoP is just stupid as hell as you'll have to grind forever to get a 5 piece bonus (with wrong traits ofc).

Just make them tradeable, let them drop in chest and in rewards of the worthy. I literary don't know a single person than runs a whole set of those, and IC is barealy played these days. Horrible design there over all..

    PLS fix!

In currently trying to complete my SPC, we cleared WGT pretty much immediately, have been running multiple times daily for a long time and recently picked it back up trying to get them and I think atm I'm sat on
3- infused chest- 2 reinforced chest
2 divines shoulder 1 well fitted shoulder
    1 reinforced belt
3 infused shoes, 2 reinforced shoes
1 well fitted gloves that I picked up yesterday

I've lost count of the amount of times I've opened the chest and ive never had ANY spell power drops, loves giving me imperium helms even bad exact same helm twice in one chest before,

It's becoming silly please change the drop rates of let me trade in some pieces for others! This is painful especially when one of our group members has 2 full sets of it

At the very LEAST remove the laughable traits from the loot pool. ZOS knows no-one wants well fitted. It's only there to make RNG more frustrating.

Dear Zos, no one wants your well-fitted items and defending bows, as well as axes of archer set or training ice staves of agility.

To illustrate this point, I know a few healers who would absolutely love to own Spell Power Cure gear to raid and pledge with, but simply cannot obtain it due to being gainfully employed. They run when they are able, and I stay positive in hopes of good rng in their presence. They haven't lucked out so far. The thread in this forum discussing Scathing Mage's effectiveness/behavior and comparisons to other sets comes from the same core complaint. The ICP/WGT sets are interesting, worth running for many builds, and simply unobtainable to all but the elite. That's getting 5 pieces in the right slots, forget ideal traiting.

I agree the drop rates are insane especially seeing this is content you pay for and its BoP, you should expect to be able to complete a set as part of your payment, they're not game changing sets so I see no reason as to why they make these sets so hard to get in the first place.

I'd like to see this change moving forward otherwise it just hurts the community who are currently paying for this DLC and getting content but no sets is kind of pointless. If you buy the DLC you should be able to wear a full set without months and months of grind especially seeing DLC is every quarter. At the very least once new DLC is released older DLC and its items should be easier to obtain.

    Stoopid drop chance? OK.
    Well-fitted? OK.
But just GET RID OF BIND-ON-PICKUP so I can stop deconstructing all those poopy VR16 Purple Divines Trinimac stuff. They're really just junk, won't give me more stamina or weapon damage, so why even design those sets?

    //Stamblade sarcasm mode - off

I don't even talk about IC dungeons sets. I just behave like they don't exist. That makes me happier, knowing that whenever I need new Hunding set, I can get Hunding set. I need Agility Rings? I can get Agility rings. And being happy and entertained is the reason people play games. There's a set that disintegrates your enemies when you sneeze? When you get million different pieces of it because that's required for it to work?

Nopity nope, Dis One wears her Hunding, which makes her look pretty AND awesome at the same time.

You know the reason why almost every theorycrafter uses Hunding-Night Mother as their base? Because why theorycraft builds with sets that - as I said - does not exist?

Good example - I needed "I poop fire" set for my Dunmer DK Pyromancer. I search for "I poop fire" set. I find it. I obtain it. I PLAY MAH GAME!

I don't even know where these set pieces drop, some trial or somthn', lol.

Thanks Khamira that brings me to another point... this is a game we spend a TON of time around work, family, life etc and the sets and what they achieve help you to have fun playing the game. Grinding for sets and getting disappointed is not fun, you take the fun out of the game and suddenly it starts to feel less of a game you want to spend time in, MMOs need devoted amounts of time so lets bring back the fun of actually getting sets, trying those sets out in different combinations with friends/groups and the fun I've selling them to friends so they too can experience the fun... hey sales of ingame sets by losing the BoP may actually encourage people to buy the DLC too!

Suggestion: Add generic badges/tokens to each boss drop in all dungeons in addition to the RNG drop to allow us to buy the missing gear (in case it didn't drop) after gathering enough of those badges and allow those same badges to be used to buy "over-applyable-trait-changes" to further optimize your gear after you have gathered all pieces. That will alot more incentive to keep running those dungeons as you see the progress coming in instead of give up all hope after you realize just how low the RNG chance to get your gear really is.

I wish they would change all weapons/armor to have a trait gem socket so that if you want to change a trait, you just take it to a crafting station and fit it with a new trait gem. Hell, some really rare items could have multiple gem sockets.

Zenimax should realize one simple fact, ppl will play the game, the current way just punishes them and forces them to do those dungeons more often then they should do it. Make it 50%, implement a intelligent token system and let ppl get their gear. When they have it, they keep on playing because they can enjoy the game in the set they want.
