I think the timers need to be adjusted. Feeding once every 30mins is a real pain.

Also maybe introduce a stage freeze for dungeons. Sometimes when in a group it isn't feasible to feed, or there is no humanoids to feed from. The whole group suffering cause one vamp has no healt regen, and can be one hitted by fire is not fair.

I think the stamina and magica regen passive should stay. But it should apply as long as the player remains a vampire. And not just when an ability is slotted. I think if I have to feed every 30mins, then I should get this by default, and shouldn't have to sacrifice another ability.

I'm with you. Sometimes the vamp skin in ESO just doesn't make sense - even as it pertains to lore. The Bonsamu are Bosmer vampires who are indistinguishable from regular Bosmer unless they are seen by candlelight. Ha, yeah right with these vampire skin mechanics.

    1. Feeding timers are way too short
    2. Feeding animation is just AWFUL in so many ways. And not awful as in evil and vicious.
    3. The skin overlay is really not very good, it just looks like my character is a chronic alcoholic with acne.
    4. Non-Ult skills are far too few and the two we have are terrible. Live the ideas for a gap closer, an escape, and a charm mechanic for feeding.
    5. Would like to see blood potions to replace/delay active feeding.
    6. I really have no interest in summoning pets or gargoyles or floating in air. Climbing walls, sure, but that's probably beyond the scope of game mechanics and would be a major game-changer in PvP.

I keep vamp for the stealth mobility in PvP, and that's it.

    1. Switch the Stage Timers! Stage 1 should last 90 minutes, Stage 3 should last 30 minutes. Aside from the cosmetics I agree that there should be other incentives to visit the lower stages depending on what you are doing. Maybe for PvP Stage 4 really is best and should remain unchanged. But for PvE there should be some tangible benefits to being in Stage 1 or 2.

    2. Give us a "Mortal" Skin in the Crown Store that, when used, overrides all the Stage appearances and returns the character to its original appearance before acquiring vampirism. Making it a Crown Store purchase makes it fully optional.

    3. Improve Mist Form! NO CCs while in Mist Form! Make the poison really count on the poison morph and give us the ability to SPRINT with the other morph! Also, mist form should mitigate fall damage.

    4. Make day and night of equal length dammit!!!!

    5. Improve the Feeding mechanism. Give vampires the ability to "charm" their target so that they do not aggro unless attacked after your vampire has fed from them. There can be a small percentage chance that the target WILL aggro (maybe some people are simply resistant to such charms)in order to leave it a little risky.

EDITING TO ADD: Okay this may be just wishful thinking but...FINISH THE SKILL LINE!

Add 3 of the following skills:

Summon: A pet summon like Sorcs only the summoned pets can be a wolf, giant bat or bloodfiend.

Invisibility: Essentially the same as it is for Night Blades.

Celerity: A gap closer that would let your vampire "blink" up to a target just as the bloodfiends do now.

Fear: Yes, being attacked by a vampire should scare the sweet bejesus out of people! LOL

Charm: This is a root/stun that, when it is over, causes the target to NOT aggro unless attacked further.

The above skills basically mimic the skills of various classes (mostly Sorc and NB) but would allow you to fill out your bar with nothing BUT vampire skills regardless of class if that's how you wanted to play. All the other skill lines have at least 5 skills, I don't think it's out of hand to do the same for vampires and werewolves.

And nobody played anything but Templar after these go live lolololol

No-one would be a NB anymore if they have access to Fear and Invisibility on on other classes. It's basically making the strengths of one class available to all on top of their own advantages. It would be so difficult to balance unless they magnified vamps weaknesses or something.

I'll grant there's something to that. However, it is mitigated at least in part by the fact that you can only have 2 skill bars with 5 abilities each still. As someone who was opposed to ZOS going the boring typical MMO route and creating classes in the first place rather than simply allowing us to learn the skills we wanted I don't really have a problem with classes being able to also do things "outside" their class. Would Nightblades be played less? Possibly. I'm not especially fussed by that.

PvP is, as far as I'm concerned, utterly broken in this game. I can't even be bothered with it. So I almost don't even care when they *insert censored word here* over a class and spend all their time running to hand hold the PvP crowd and endlessly tinker with "class balance" instead of expending the time and energy to make this game more enjoyable overall rather than for a subset of players. I say that as the smallest subset in the game, roleplayers, whom they do nothing for unless you want to count ganking our credit cards with the crown store. LOL

So I'll just be happy if they will go to the trouble to make my vamps LOOK decent FINALLY and MAYBE make them a little more fun to play in PvE.

A bit of input from me though I've said these things in other spots in the forums. I'm probably missing a few but some have already been covered anyway, a couple of these are purely cosmetic but a couple are gameplay issues I'd like to see some changes to. We'll see I guess, I hope we do get a bit of love in update 10 :).

    1. Redguards should not turn purple with vampirism. This happens all the way through stages 1-4, though they go whiter closer to stage 4. I don't know who thought that was a good idea but I've actually been laughed at in-game for it, it's really horrible. A feasible skin colour would be very much appreciated. There's no way he'd be able to get away with fitting in with society right now, he may as well have a flashing neon sign.

    2. Tattoos and facepaint shouldn't become faded on vampires. My Redguard had blue facepaint and post-vampirism it's faded to the point where it looks like he has bruises on his face.

    3. The 30 minute stage timer for stage 1 is far too short. In many situations it's not possible to feed at that short an interval without ditching your group to feed then coming back.

    4. If you're going to give vampires a bonus to stamina regeneration, some stamina-based abilities (or even just morphs) would be great. At the moment it all costs magicka, and it all does magicka damage with no physical damage options.

Work the Pack Leader morph's abilities into Call of the Pack passive, and turn the Pack Leader morph into a tank werewolf with inverted fears. (Any fear from transformation or Roar ability becomes a taunt) Also, give werewolves the ability to store up extra ultimate for more time, up to say, one and a half to two minutes, as well as doubling the amount of time gained from feeding, and retaining any unused time if they untransform before time is done. (The transformation itself should both have a minimum ultimate threshold as well as consume some ultimate to prevent people spamming the transformation)

    1. Make batswarm duration longer. Maybe 10 seconds?
    2. Make mistform immune to snares, stun, cc, knockback, granting major expedition.
    3. Fear skill for vamps.
    4. Drain should be from a bite, stunning the enemy for a certain amount of time..say 2 seconds? And heals.
    5. Vamps should have a gap closer similar to ambush from nightblades. Maybe a claw strike?
    6. A skill that summons shade, but instead of shade, maybe vamp minions? One or two that attacks the enemy, draining their health and mana recovery or health and stam recovery. (more of like a debuff).
    7. As stated above, a gargoyle scale that gives physical and spell resistance, like volatile armor from dk's for a limited time.

SIGH. After enduring the whole episode ALL I caught as mention of vampires was at the 45:00 mark where they briefly discuss vampires possibly being able to interact with/feed from Blood Altar from the Undaunted skill line. And they say, nope, won't happen. If there was indeed more and I missed it, someone PLEASE point it out to me!
