Oh i was going too, then i read this page and it looks like people are just crying and then comparing their e-pen on how many mmorpg they have played. Such good well thought out criticism's, i see what your talking about.
Do i have the time to re read all 21 pages of it? No i don't.
Care to enlighten me on the 'well though't out criticisms'
You know, I think I'd like this set a lot of it worked in reverse. You put it on and upon your death you explode for 15k+ fire damage to all enemies around you. You could have some real fun with that. Meteor + Prox + Spell Sym oh my godddd
Since it´s pretty clear how many buttons they´re pushing when they only use one skill for the entirety of a fight i don´t know where you want to go with that statement?
Are you going to argue about the use of WASD to move their character as a spectecular display of dexterity because they managed to not run into a tree while hammering one skill - is it that what you´re suggesting?

I'm surprised you think people should have many attacks on thier bar. Even as a ganker I primarily used 1-2 attacks, the rest being buffs, heals. Etc. Conservation of bar space is real.
I may only have 1-2 attacks on my bars but I'm using the rest as damage buffs, damage shields, CC, mobility, etc.

Steeltornado and ambush? Just a guess
I would not have written using only one skill if they´d use more than one skill. I did not write one attack. I wrote one skill.
You're working real hard to police the gameplay of people who seem to have a better grasp of how to play than you.

No i can't be bothered too read what i assume is going to be a wasted thread based on the last 2 pages.
But anyway have fun discussing other mmorpg's.

Sure if abusing every broken mechanic or skill not working as intended to the maximum is a better grasp of how to play in your book - i admit i have to l2p in that regard. I just don´t want to.
Pretty revealing about someones character to run around with such an attitude i have to admit. You´re not trying out bdo by chance?

Almost as if some skills are better than others and work together with other good skills. In a game players do this thing called min maxing which means finding the best combos and builds and using them. If you don't want to get good, at least try not hating on everyone who did.
Also helllll no to BDO. CU is our future destination.

Do you have a decent source for this or are you just projecting your hopes and desires onto Camelot Unchained without basis?

Good players adapt to the game. If the game is designed around a smaller team that is whatever wil be running. I appreciate your concern tho.
Are we done now with the "min-maxing in a MMORPG is bad" tangent?

I´d say it´s safe to assume they won´t magically reach 16 or 24 coming from that statement. I personally think it will be less than the available classes on launch to create diversity in grp setups.

I´d have no problem with loosing to players actually putting thought into the game. The players i´ve been discribing are only min maxing in terms of: Maximise the amout of ppl you bring to minimise the personal risk while only using one skill ever.

From what I've read and listened in the interviews, it will likely end up being between 8 and 12. It seems good to me for the number of classes they have, and allows you to run multiple groups that specialize and support each other.
I'd love to do that in this game but honestly it'd just make it too easy.

There are enough hints in the forum pointing towards groups of maximum 8 players.
CU will / want to support large scale combat, but not large groups.
I'm also pretty sure that stacking will have huge consequences. Spamming one button won't work either btw.

I really hope cross grp support will be limited either via the UI or with having mostly grp not aoe centric spells and support abilities because if that´s not the case you get into the same boat gw2 and eso are in. More people = more win which is ultimately not desireable as you loose the "less ppl" fraction of the playerbase.

The combat system thankfully won't be spammy. I think everyone is glad for that. The higher the skill ceiling the better, it's been frustrating to see it continually lowered in this game to the place we are at now, where the meta can be boiled down to "BOOM!!"
