Comment on your shield discussion:
Having shields be not refreshable is exactly the bad bandaid solution you don´t want to have and are complaining about in other cases. It will achieve one thing. Every magica sorc will run three shields again and alternate between them in use. It eliminates build variety.
It will be a hard nerf for builds trying to get by with two or even only one shield and it will hardly change anything for players that run with three shields.
Excatly the kind of solution you don´t want to have.
At this point the only thing that will fix shields without breaking them imho is either reworking harness to a completely different ability and healing ward to a bigger initial heal smaller shield or making shields completely unstackable.

Bandaid solution for the problem of having too much regen in the first place. No need for stacking costs when you can´t spam endlessly.

Lefty is extremely smart about most things with this game. He, along with a lot of us, have almost just given up on trying to communicate with the devs because its pretty much pointless.

I didnt say otherwise. just stating my observations. I still don't understand why you're trying to represent all PVP with all 1vx players. put Jules, zheg, satiar, or wrx on full time. instead of "guests".

Nobody ever said they are trying to represent all PvP.

After watching this latest show, having watched the painful explanations by Wrobel...I still think there's a solution that could change a ton of aspects for PvP.
Making the skills and abilities work differently for PvP VS. PvE (especially since the thieves guild player bounty thing was scraped). Top to bottom. Go over all the skills etc. and make them work and do damage differently when we're in Cyrodiil. Some can even stay as is. I also didn't see any mention on this particular cast about the siege changes. (unless it came in at the very end). This is another thing that's going to make ball groups rethink how they play. The only part that worries me is open field battles where a small group can't afford to put someone on siege when facing a larger group that can have 2 or more drop siege at the onset of any encounter. We have to remember anything that buffs a small group can buff a large group that much more.

This is very delicate thing, because many ppl dont do either PvE or PvP competitively, but they do both casually. And this would destroy their builds and playstyle.

Point is to try and end the mentality of pushing just 1 button.
