[BUG] Elemental Expert and Thaumaturge

Are this a visual bug?
If i put 100 points into Elemental Expert (+magic, fire, ice, thunder dmg) the skills:
- det
- meteor
- elemental ring
- liquid lightning
- vamp ulti
- detonation
- crystal frags
- ...
are not affected (tooltip).
BUT
If i put 100 points into Thaumaturge (+dmg to DOTS) all these skills are affected. Especially the impact of the meteor or crystal frags are in my eyes no dots.
The Elemental Expert star and the Thaumaturge star seems to be completly broken. The Elemental Expert star had no effect on all of my elemental skills or magical skills.
Can someone confirm this?

✭Ele expert is added after tooltip calculation, so it don't boost the tooltip's damage. Check your damage before and after putting point, you'll se a boost in your real damage even if not in the tooltip.
Thaumaturge is added before tooltip calculation, so you see directly their boost.1 -

glavius✭✭✭✭✭I haven't tested that, but I did test the defensive stars vs. meteor.
Elemental defender of course works vs. both DD and dot portion. Thick skinned works only vs. the dot portion.
Both work vs. magicka detonation.
So by logic, elemental expert should increase all of the mentioned skills. While thaumaturge should increase meteor dot portion and magicka detonation.Edited by glavius on February 14, 2016 7:18PM0 -

✭I think it's more a 43,75% reduction (damage x0,75 x0,75), but yes, you can double-reduce detonation.0 -
glavius✭✭✭✭✭Some skills also behave weird. The DK fire dots were reduced both by elemental defender and thick skinned. However second passive only reduced them very little. And the first passive I put (elemental defender and thick skinned) was the one that reduced it the most by far. The order in which I specced into them didn't matter.0

But the op said that all the skills they listed are affected by thaumaturge on the pts, including crystal frags which isn't a dot. Crystal frags is affected by thaumaturge on live but should be affected by elemental expert on pts.Edited by FriedEggSandwich on February 15, 2016 1:28AMPC | EU0 -

They did zero regression tests or tested impact of code before...Guild
