Which new possible class would you like to see happen?

    Templars 2.0 please.

Before creating a new class, the crippled Templar class needs an overhaul.
The latest game content requires this: mobility, dps, shields or cloak, healing

Templars 1.0: no mobility, low dps, bad shields, expensive healing
Templars 2.0: mobility, good dps, usable shields, affordable healing

in other words: a class as good as the Sorc/NB classes.

    Yep.

    What is "Cryomancer"?
My first thought of its possible skill was: The Storm of Tears or The Weeping Shard

    Haha great xD

A cryomancer is someone who uses ice magic.
Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

In most fantasy worlds, necromancer would be executed if he walked into the city. Is ES lore different in this? Like necromancy is legit thing?

No, especially right now that the world's biggest necromancer, Mannimarco, is wrecking havoc in Tamriel. A Necromancer would have a hard time staying alive and free right now.

There are actually quite a few arguments in the lore for necromancy not always being a terrible thing. Also, like vampires and werewolves, only an idiot would walk into town with a pack of shambling undead and say, "No worries folks! I'm just here to knock back a few ales at the tavern! I'm a good and friendly necromancer so have no fear!" Short of seeing your cahracter in action raising and controlling the dead, there's no way for anyone to KNOW they are a necromancer.

Problem is, NPCs often see our character in action. Many quests are in busy hubs.

About necromancy not always being a terrible thing, I imagine you are talking about Vastarie? She practiced "good necromancy", and we could be her disciples, but her study is hardly used for combat (it was more for gathering information from the deceased).

In the end, Necromancy is still banned and shunned pretty much everywhere.

But in the Second Era it's not actually illegal yet. That doesn't happen til 3rd Era. So you really can argue for its inclusion from a lore perspective.

Not quite. Right now, it should have been banned by the Psijic Order already and we know for sure it was banned by the Mages Guild. It is seen as an abomination by almost every culture, being considered either illegal and/or an affront to the Gods or ancestors. How could we argue, from Lore point of view, raising a corpse in Auridon or in front of a Redguard, and they not reacting to it? I am using the exemples of the two societies that abhor it the most because it is important to consider what would work in the entire game, not only on the places where it is "technically legal", like Cyrodiil (still shunned though).

That's why, if it is added, it should be through a skill line with an explanation for you to be part of the few exceptions. Not as a class.

Honestly, I'd be happy with a ton of new skill lines being added to each class so you can craft the "flavor" of your choice. I don't care if they make a Necromancer class or simply add a GOOD skill line to Sorcs to make it possible!

It could be a world skill line instead, so that any class could use. It is like I would like to see Bard skills added, too (Bards Guild anyone?).

That would actually be incredibly cool.

Necro would be nice. On second thought however... Id like to see a stamina focused class. So theyd take stamina more seriously.

    Warden
Warden, the class that we read about before release could fill a gap for players who love Rangers, Druids and Beastmaster type characters. I'd love to see a Necromancer class, but after 2 years of Sorc pets being subpar I'm skeptical.

    Warden
I voted Warden because I've heard from a reliable source that the class exists on the development server at ZOS. It was developed pretty far before PC release, but didn't make the cut for some reason.

It sounded like a powerful buffing class, but I'm not sure what it would do offensively. It seems like it would be the easiest to get out into the game, which is in need of some type of new class to breathe some life into the game for long time players.

I understand the arguments that people make about removing classes or just making skill lines from now on, but ESO was released using traditional MMORPG classes, like it or not, and a choice of only four classes got old a long time ago.

The classes we have are barely balanced as it is. I don't think digging that hole deeper would help anything.

Agree. Also, the game already has so many variables for play style. I don't see a need, at least not even a medium priority, for adding another class.

I voted other because I believe the current classes just need to be expanded upon before and entire new class is brought in. Still quite early in the life of the game for new classes, while there's still a lack of variety within what we already have that should be looked into first (IMO).

i think necromancer wouldn't work in this game to be honest. this game is high passed with alot of mobilty. necromancers with pets wont be strong vs mobilty from what i think. and the balance is still off in this game. and don't forget we want to see both a stam and a magic version of both classes which i don't really see when i look at a hunter or necromancer
