@RazielSR It's pretty clear you have not read most of the posts in this thread as we specifically mentioned we want caps removed for PvE content not PvP content. Please read before posting! Thanks!
People complained that there wasnt a cap, now people complain that there is.. ZoS can't win.
You say you don't want a cp cap for PvE but it is important to have one for fair competition (on leaderboard scores).

Have you ever spent time grinding for CP? In CwC, assuming I'm with a partner and the rest of the cave is empty, I could get 1 CP every 25 minutes (no enlightenment) prior to the CP catchup/cap mechanics. So, if I had wanted to grind 1000 CP that would have been 25000 minutes or 2.5 weeks of grinding 24/7 non-stop. It's not a 'few days' as you stated.
Oh, I only PvE and as a PvE player the CP Cap is entirely disheartening.
I thought that's why ZOS was implementing the CP limited campaigns? To alleviate what you are talking about? Why are we (PvE players) being punished even more?
Yeah, I really don't understand why there's a cap in PVE. I'm sure the hardcore PVErs in trials and stuff are pretty much already maxed out on CP anyway. In PVP it's harder to earn and it does make a big difference, so I get why there's one there.
Another nonsese topic by grinders and nolifers regarding cp cap. If ZOS is doing this is because THEY KNOW AND HAVE THE DATA of the vast manority of players and they are far from the cap. Players that are actually playing the content and not grinding without appreciating the dlcs and whinning the day before a dlc release because they have nothing to do. Go out and take fresh air or play other games. You just want to be able to rule in pvp because of your grinded cp.
I guess those kind of whinners are afraid to play against other players with the same advantages.

I agree with OP! People complain about those with lots of CP forgetting that those people spent lots of time grinding and playing to get there. Reward them for putting in the effort!
