Is there a reason we are getting spammed with Rewards for the worthy in PTS?

I made a Template to get some items so I could try them out only to find out they are all purple. I asked someone to send me some Rosin so I could upgrade those items but I cant get to them. Every time I clear out my mailbox and try to relog to get the mail I get spammed with Rewards for the worthy again.

✭✭✭✭If your template character is maxed out in the Alliance ranks (not sure if they are by default as I haven't used a template yet this time round) then it could be just the system auto-mailing out the appropriate number of rewards that you would have earned by getting to that rank. That being the case, they are probably finite in number - keep deleting them, hopefully it won't take too many hours. (if this is the case, Zeni please sort out your setup on the PTS for templates, there are a number of problems with them that delay people being able to test content effectively).GM - Ghost Sea Trading Co - NA PC

Xjcon✭✭✭✭✭I deleted items for about 10 minutes. that meant i cleared mail, logged out then logged back in to have a full mail box again. I did that about 5 times. Was on pts last night and didnt have that mail problem. only started after i made a V16 template.

✭✭It's the only way to get weapons that are not from msa or heads / shoulders that are not from monster sets if we can't find any friendl crafter from NA. So as long as template characters have no traits researched, I think it's good to have these mails, even when it's annoying to destroy all those marksman healing staves.0 -

I did make a template, but its funny I didn't have problems with this until I purchased the DLC pack in the PTS crown store. I'm fairly certain I check my mail a time or two, but swapping back and forth between PTS and live I could be mistaken.

It happened when I created a template. The first day of pts I played my DK with everything he has on live. The second day I decided to try out master weapons, once I created a template I pulled the Destro staff off the template and found I would have to upgrade it. In the meantime, you're still annoyed because your template is still at 0 in provisioning, knows 0 recipes and you're stuck with meh crown store tri food.

✭✭✭✭✭It's quite a bit more than 99 mails.
The game injects your character with 10 million AP after the character is created, which is why your character is a Tribune. I assume that this is to facilitate testing of AP merchants. After you get and delete 99 mails, just rezone or relog, and you'll get more. And more. ✭✭I know one thing, the spammed rewards in the mail is one of the key things causing more lag on pts.
yeah they really need to change this system, I would like to see, like every rank level up you get a choice in armor set you want for your charater by a reward, and a certain amount of gold given for leveling the pvp skill lines.PC NA

Well to me, being a fairly new player and firstly being invited to Closed Beta and secondly receiving all this mail filled with gear, mats, motifs, recipes and all the rest of the goodies is amazing I never thought for one minute being a casual player I'd ever get to see the majority of the above mentioned let alone be able to use or wear it...Happy Days
