Nait it's 670k AP, someone posted it in another thread on the forums. Lemme see if I can find it.
It's about rank 11.5 to get skill line 10.

670k AP can be made in one day with the doubling of AP gains.
On the one hand it levels the playing field for new people, on the other it doesn't seem like much of an achievement any more.
As I've said many times, the changes they make to the game are to satisfy the 90% (the grand majority of players).
@Ghostbane AP is being doubled for groups up to 6. See my previous post (#3) above.

You can see http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Online:Alliance_Points for the chart showing how much AP is needed for each alliance rank.
It used to be that Alliance Rank 24 having earned a total of 6,918,400 AP would get you Skill Line 10.
On PTS, My VR16 DK is Alliance Rank 17, and is already Skill Line 10 (with all passives). My level 24 Templar is Alliance Rank 7 and Assault Skill Line 6.
From a few discussions that I've had with players from BwB, we guesstimate that Alliance Rank 13 (having earned a total of 1,040,000 AP) is where Skill Line 10 will be reached.
Would anyone with lower Alliance Rank player please post here with:
1. Toon Name, Level
2. Alliance Rank (including exact number of AP through to the next level)
3. Skill Line Level (including exact number of AP through to the next level)
Example:
Randym, Level 24
Alliance Rank 7 (49,466 / 78,400)
Assault Level 6 (45,067 / 60,000)
I would like to make a new chart showing the new numbers and mappings.
Thanks!

@smacx250 Thanks - that supports what we've heard from quite a few people. Around AR11 you get Skill Line 10.
@CatchMeTrolling It's only the skill lines that have had their requirements lowered, so you get Skill Line 10 at around Alliance Rank 11 instead of Alliance Rank 24 (as it is now). You still need 64 million AP to get to Alliance Rank 50.
