They did some good changes too. Jabs should be better now unless they revoke the change after ppl complaining on PTS for it being OP, lol.
Apparently all the other classes need to be just as good at healing, although we are the only ones with our own healing skill line. Ok then...........

It's not a change, it's a nerf. A change would be if something was added but something taken away. This is just something taken away.
It's not the first nerf. I really don't see how we are always meant to accept it..?

Do you disagree on the healing ability of a Templar with the BoL change - which does not reduce their capability in PvE at all and encourages a more active playstyle( For PvP is a welcome adjustment), or are you stuck only the principle of it being "another nerf"?

Wrong. The passive change to purify/channeled focus means healing is LESS active playstyle and LESS complicated. Now it's just going to be more BoL spam to make up for the nerf that makes it hit one less person. Don't feel bad though, looks like wrobel is just as clueless.

Tell me, how do you think DKs, NBs and the rare Sorc healers, heal and support their team? A combination of class and non-class abilities to directly aid their team and reduce the effectiveness of enemies, as would also a good Templar healer.
The reduced number of targets healed by one class-specific ability -- which will still be a strong NON-targeted/aimed heal in no way makes that class poor healers.
Templars have always been chosen in PvE not for BoL, but for their utility in Repentance, Shards, Nova and sometimes, Purifying Ritual. BoL is as it should, an emergency heal to partially negate an unexpected situation to work in tandem with other abilities OR to top off a low member. Saying you have to BoL spam more.. makes me wonder if you've looked outside of your Restoring Light line and actually explored being a supportive member of your group.
Healing Ritual has an interesting change, 25% reduction in cast time. This would work better as a pre-emptive heal, a good and smart player should be able to use this to a decent effect (around the same as the BoLs as you do anyway.) Barrier, Bone Shield, Regeneration, Grand Healing applied every so often as passive healing, Healing Orbs (if not magicka orbs), Combat Prayer (A good-enough heal, requires GOOD positioning and provides a much desired damage buff) to name some I use on my DK healer... Oh I hope you use Elemental Drain at least if you have Magicka group members able to make good use of it...
And we? Who is that? You? I play a Magicka Templar regularly and am in full support of the majority of these changes. Please, don't tell me you liked being a "Healer" by spamming Sweep and BoL?

I'm disappointed they caved in and made yet another band-aid fix to appease the ever elite dps classes whose cries are louder than pretty much anyone else, but it happened.

I believe ZOS' goal with the changes was not for Cyrodiil specifically, but rather to encourage a more active and meaningful playstyle by looking for options outside of one skill.
Snip

How it turns out, we shall see. Expect a lot of complaining however.

Well, all they changed was now we have to spam BoL even more if things suddenly go south for a group. I guess that's technically more active, but I fail to see how it's more meaningful.
