Maybe add something that lets you flag yourself as non hostile towards other players. You can't damage them and vice versa. Also, once you flag yourself as non hostile, you can't change mid campaign, you'd have to leave and queue up again.
You would not be able to gain alliance war points while doing so and you wouldn't be able to assist in capturing keeps, farms, etc. You are literally limited to PvE quests.
OK so that's a "Yes" to the question above thenI leave grinders alone unless they want to be a hero and attack me first. If I saw someone with a yellow outline I'd follow them around and kill them endlessly for attempting to "opt-out" of PVP in a PVP zone until they throw their computer at the wall. Trust me, it's safer if they just do whatever they're doing now.I had a suggestion a bit like this; it would involve ZOS input, but the idea was to set a toggle switch that would set your "enemy glow" to yellow (instead of the standard red). To discourage the people who would kill you solely because you were an easy target (we'll call them "griefers"), they would get no AP for the kill. (To avoid exploits, anyone with the toggle on would not be able to initiate PvP attacks, only defend. Cannot change toggle state while in Cyrodiil.)
If I present to you a "lore reason":i don't get why people want to do quests in Cyrodiil but then expect to be able to talk their way out of PvP. It's a PvP area. Either you fight back or you just die. But don't come here and ask for changes for the only PvP zone in this game. There is more than enough PvE zones and quests and whatever else.

There are some people who don't care for the war, who just want to enter Cyrodiil as a neutral adventurer, and not an alliance soldier. Neutral people exist in Cyrodiil - just look at all the NPCs in the towns, and the Fighters Guild quest-giver in the inn. Why can't players be neutral as well?

You, and your friend, may enter Cyrodill neutral. I also attack neutral people. It is a warzone (ie PvP zone). Don't enter it if you don't want to fight.
Do you think a "neutral" adventurer would be left alone on Omaha beach?
Most people complain about getting ganked while questing in Cyrodiil. Personally I don't mind, since a surprise PvP breaks the monotony of questing, but most people think otherwise.
A suggestion for PvE exlcusive players, that we don't even need ZoS to implement, is establish something like the "white banner" concept. We define a specific color set, White for example, and whenever we see a player in questing zones wearing a full white set we avoid attacking, simple as that.
Of course that wouldn't work in Sewers or Seaged castles, etc, for obvious reason.
Am I to naive thinking people would respect something like this?

What about those poor buggers in Chorrol or Vlastarus? They're neutral. There's no neutrality in a war zone.
Are you new here?
When what will no longer exist? Campaigns dominated by your faction?Still hoping for the day when these will no longer exist...Asherons_Call wrote: »A more simple solution is to play at 4am on a campaign dominated by your faction
if i see any noobs wihtout an alliance rank i always go up to them and wait for what they do.
if they attack me i nuke them without mercy, if the yrun away i mark them to see them run even faster^^ (and dont kill them)

My main since launch has been DC. On EU there's always at least one campaign dominated by DC.When what will no longer exist? Roll a DC character. I guarantee you'll never have a campaign dominated by your faction.

Yes they're very useful, but they're not in the spirit of an ongoing battlefield. A while ago there was a proposal by some players that campaigns with one dominant faction and an underdog bonus for the other two should have a full reset (keeps and all) at the end of the cycle instead of just a score reset, to kick the competitiveness back into them. (Campaigns with a reasonable balance would stick with just a score reset.)Asherons_Call wrote: »Why is that?
