✭YES I WANT TO BE ABLE TO EARN MOUNTSThat was one thing I really liked about Final Fantasy XIV, how you could earn mounts through completing quest chains. Loved that unicorn mount. ESO should at least have a quest where you can earn a basic horse, so new players don't have to raise 40k or spend real money in the crown store. Only of they want a specialty mount that looks cool or whatever. They could make Fadeel a unique skin, too, and make it so that the skin remains locked until after you buy a horse so that people won't complain DC has an unfair advantage (the best would add similar quests with different horse skins for EP and AD though).
Make it auto-unlock for the people with characters that already did the Fadeel's quest.Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.

TheTwistedRune✭✭✭✭✭I suppose having the option to earn mounts in game via quests or achievements would be fair. However, as with those who can't or won't use the CS (and thus its problem) you are locking content away from people who are not able to put the time in to earn or afford them.
Either way you are going to annoy somebody.
