Were monster shoulder drops nerfed from silver and gold key chests?

I never see them drop in chests anymore. All I ever seem to get is mercenary motifs from silver and gold key chests.

I been saving my last batch of 25 silver and 25 gold keys, and this is what I got from the keys....also loads of others but were crap traits. Also a crap ton of gems + merc motifs and random loot.
Funny Thing is I still have never got a helm....ever....Can't complain though, best in slot Kena on first few silver keys in months...I don't even really grind dungeons except for dailies....

Got Mephala helm yesterday thought at last in med devines. Just these to go but they do not drop for sorcs period.PC Master Race

Refuse2GrowUp✭✭✭✭✭I do dailies on multiple toons and rarely get shoulders. I understand RNG is RNG, and that it can be a b(expletive)h of a thing, but I rarely get shoulders. I certainly got them more often before Mercenary motifs were introduced. In fact, I opened 78 keys on an alt that hit V16 a while back. I don't remember the gold/silver key ratio but know it was more golds than silvers. Anyway, in that many keys, I got TWO shoulders. Bad RNG aside, I am pretty certain the drop ratio was either bugged or purposely nerfed when the motifs started dropping.PS4 NA Server

✭✭Mine came in a silver chest on day one of IC. Saved up 15 gold keys and 1 silver key...golds gave me nothing but medium Devines Kena shoulders came in silver. Stupid. Never overlook your daily silver key. Think my Nerenith arm cops came in there too. Just scale it down to like level 15 and tear through regular dungeons. Nothing in them.PC Master Race

They are offering them for sale in the next update so knowing ZoS they lower the drop rate and didn't tell us.Make Rush of Agony "Monsters only." People should not be consecutively crowd controlled in a PvP setting. Period.2 -

It's not perfect because you don't want it to be perfect. I'd understand if it was Sturdy or smth, but Infuse is perfectly fine. Be happy what you got.

My brother has 2x Kena and 1x Engine Guardian with about half the runs.
It's a conspiracy I say.
Sure feels like I've been personally nerfed, rather than shoulder drops from keys in general. *cries*

✭✭✭✭✭My first opening spree was when IC launched. Took me 34 silver keys before I got a single shoulder piece of any kind. (But I was getting a shoulder once every 3 or 4 gold keys.)
My second opening spree was when Orsinium launched. Got several shoulders out of 60+ silver keys. (Gold key rate was about the same as before.)
RNG is RNG. Sometimes a 34-key drought is just bad luck.
I'm thinking about having another opening spree soon... (I save my keys and open them in big batches; currently have about 200 of each type saved.)

I usually do 30 keys at a time to redistribute fortune seeker to use them each time, and I can tell you, i went from about 22-26 monster shoulders every 30 to about 12.....Tripped over my friends bra.....
