I guess this is the one topic all pvp'ers irrespective of faction can come together and have the same opinion. But alas, I guess all this thread will prove is that I carry my nickname deservedly: Don Quixote.
Been in numerous Azura, TF, and Haderus top 10s on NA PC server here. The only items of use that I could get from PvP rewards are correct trait master weapons.
Has never owned a master weapon.
Am sad.

This is not specific to campaign rewards. Sturdy, well fitted and to some extent Impenetrable are just laughable traits. Either they should be removed from all reward items including campaign rewards, trial gear, monster sets and pretty much any drop set or they should be improved to be usable in more situations and therefore desirable for some subset of endgame players. It's just that simple.
Quick 3 minute thought on improvements
Well Fitted - reduce the cost of sprinting and add X% dodge (probably about 0.5% per tier per item so maxing at 20% in full legendary with shield)
Sturdy - This item takes reduced wear and add X% damage mitigation
Impenetrable - Adds critical resistance and increase your max health by X%
Training - Increase related xp and reduce the cost of your abilities by X or X%
