✭✭✭✭✭The word "the" has always been included in The Elder Scrolls games acronyms, hence TES V - Skyrim. Other examples include POTUS - President of THE United States, SCOTUS - Supreme Court of THE United States, MotD - message of THE day, WTF - what THE... well, you know what it means
