ETA on more character slots?

I am in desperate need of at least one more slot.

I would pay crowns. Just give me more slots!

Probably the easiest, sure-shot moneymaker they could implement.

Make it so, number one!

Ona more serious note... can I have character slots to buy in the crown store? I really would love to make one more alt, or two. Maybe three. Four at max! I'd spend good crowns on this!

I was wondering during the last days, too, if we'll ever get more character slots, or never. I kept a ton of low level set items in one characters inventory, just in case, but if we definitely won't get more slots, I would just sell them. I sold a lot already that the rest would be just good for 1-2 new characters, but these items still use up too much space to just run around with them doing quests etc.

I am not -that- much of an altaholic. Or maybe I am just too lazy to switch between accounts. Or maybe I just can't bear the feeling of splitting my playtime-earned c-points. Or maybe its the crown store purchases. Take a pick...

But I will not buy a second account, though I -would- buy more character slots.

This one really needs at least two more slots for the additional bit part actors needed to make the Fishmas movie I have in mind.

Unless anyone knows two Argonians that Santie could borrow for an afternoon ...

I am honestly very shocked this isn't a Crown Store item yet. I know a lot of players who would love to have more character slots and would be more than willing to buy those.

Additional "free" slots would also be a great thing to encourage subscribers, much like SWTOR and other games offer. It's a bonus paid for either via sub or un-sub crowns but doesn't take away from the original purchase only adds on top of it.

Well, it costs you about 6000 Crowns for 8 slots, Being able to tie those 8 new slots to your original 8 slots with a shared inventory and resources,,,,,, Priceless.

Seriously, if they charge you 3000 crowns for a new mount, what do you think 4 character slots would be, I'd almost bet 6000 crowns or more.

I had to delete a VR1 Khajiit Sorc to make room for another copy of my main, do you think ZoS will revive him when i buy more char slots? I certainly hope so!

There's no point in buying 2 accounts, since you cannot share champion points or BoP gear.

As someone who has maintained a sub since launch I support this idea! Goodies that encourage a sub are smart. But they should also have them as a stand alone purchase as well.

I would at least like enough slots so I could make one character of each race, and maybe a couple more. We've been going on about this for a while though haven't we? I feel like the same names keep popping up in these same threads (not that we shouldn't repeat ourselves).

We can't even make one alt for every race with a mere 8 slots, its barely enough to make each class in stamina/magica version... we can't even make each class in each armor style...

Put up extra character slots NOW for sale, ZOS!
Charge, I dunno, 1000-1500 crowns per slot, and let us have up to, say, 12...

I don't think I've given them any ideas on this. I'd guess the only reason we don't have them yet is they are still hashing out a price. I'd also be willing to guess that they are also asking themselves how many to limit it to if / when they go F2P (at least on PC).

Basing off of Highest price of crowns (smallest amount)
Game now = ~6000 Crowns
(a guess) F2P = 2 free slots and additional slots 1k each, 6 slots to bring you back to 8 = 6000 crowns. (your guess on limit of slots. They could also sell bank slots past base game cap after they change it.

Note: I don't want to see this, but I know this or something like it is coming. I don't see this coming for consoles though, I don't think the companies would allow a game of this quality to go full F2P, that said as anyone here knows, I've been wrong a lot. This is one time I hope I am.

I think the ideal solution is to unlock one extra character slot every three game packs bought or rented. It's not rampant expansion, but the game dynamics are probably going to change every nine months or so.

It also moves the discussion past buying, and more toward a perk of using more available content.

Since NO ONE needs more slots for characters for any other reason than roleplay I think we can assume that's your gig. You always have the option of a second account. What's eso cost on PC, 20$. That's 8 more slots for 20 dollars. Plus you can relive alot of the experiences. Just a thought.

There are LOTS of reasons to want more character slots. Roleplaying, trying all the different race / class combinations, being involved in multiple groups which you want to level characters with, trying out different combinations of red responses during the quests, etc.

After much waiting, I *did* finally buy a second account this past weekend (when the price was 60% off PC) because I have friends who are getting back into the game and I really needed more slots to be able to make characters to play with them, since all the slots on my main account have long since been filled. Fortunately in this specific case I don't need all the perks I have on my main account because these friends are only dealing with the basic game (for now, anyway) - and when those friends get high enough in level I can always switch over to using the characters on my main account with them.

That said, I'm strongly hoping for more character slots to become available in the spring when the 64 bit client is released. (For various reasons, I've been thinking this is why it hasn't happened yet...) I could *really* really really really use more and it would simplify things a lot.

There are 8 different build types: Magicka and Stamina versions of each of the four classes. But that won't leave you any room for mules or other utility characters. Yes, I have a second account for even more storage, but I need mules on my main account because so much stuff is account-bound and can never be muled on my alt account.

And I don't want to play on that second account since it won't have my CP, access to bound gear, etc.
