Care to explain why then PS4 and PC aren't together?
Or something like why PS4 isn't getting free play weekend or the crown discounts and game discounts?

Very true, but on the other hand look what it did for FFXIV. It increased population massively and not a single PC player there says anything negative about it being cross platform anymore.
All though from my time with FFXIV, It was very rare compared to eso for patches to mess things up, so hotfixes and incremental patches were not needed as much.
It won't ever happen unless Microsoft change their policies but I'd of loved cross platform, population wise it would of only been a possitive for the game
