Unless you are referring to BoE and BoP then that affects everyone. Or if you are referring to how they had ICP / WGT that was also broken and affected everyone since they couldn't clear it then they all exploited it because of that reason. But then again the only decent gear from those dungeons would be Spell power cure and overwhelming

If you need a clear indication of why loot is fine in this game, then just look at the Maelstrom tanking items. Totally great loot. Many people are very happy with their tanking sets from vMA. Not an issue.

I think I made 1 thread about loot which was addressed as many people didn't like the drop rates
BoP and BoE is totally differnet.

I don't need any sets and I got my spell cure set after 4 days of the new dungeons so i didn't really need anything in there it was mainly for the community and guys i was running with getting nothing. @Gilliamtherogue got nothing for 3-4 days of farming for 8+ hours each day. That needed to be addressed my opinion or not, many agreed.

you tag rich in almost every single post asking for tanking fixes, they're not going to do it because it's not even a problem. Take a look at this test we did, tanking mantikora for 3 minutes in medium armor until his enrage phase.

It's really not difficult to watch your stamina, and plus having no stam regen kinda makes it fun and challenging. Enjoy it, not exactly a nerf more of a combat change.

(ps take note there is no magma being used)

As a magicka caster I've done 26 arena's so far with 16 weekly rewards. My main goal is to obtain a Maelstrom Inferno staff in either Precise or Sharpened, but guess what? Still no *** inferno staff.

This RNG is getting on my nerves, they need to create a currency system for this stuff. No reason to go RNG if it's bind on pick-up anyway.

Well, I'm not sure, but I use mostly crafted gear so that means that we shouldn't bother to really talk about itemization. It is just moot point to do so when, practically, an itemization change wont really have an effect on how I play the game.

Even though people were able to persuade the developers into action over this itemization change, it is probably the safe route to not ask the developers for anything else.

LT this had absolutely nothing to do with Tanking or that I didn't like the shield. Dude seriously read the post and keep your tanking rant out of this. Since a shield is crafted under ARMOR I thought it was ARMOR and the patch notes said 100% chance of a WEAPON I went to customer service first. THEY TOLD ME I JUST HAD BAD LUCK! I brought it to the forums because seriously BAD LUCK is not an answer to the question is a SHIELD A WEAPON.

Nice try. This issue is very related. If the Maelstrom Shield had gotten a unique enchantment, then it is likely that players would have been far better to identify the Maelstrom Shield as a "Maelstrom Weapon" rather than a regular piece of apparel related to a set. I personally sought for the shield to have it's own unique effect, but here we are, a month later, and people are upset about a crappy reward which would have been far more exciting if a few of my suggestions were used to fix the item.

LT what you just said makes sense and is a valid point. Your comment before about being "given" stuff if you complain, yea that pissed me off. I ran VWGT over 320 times to get the exact five pieces of overwhelming in the traits I wanted. I even ran it with you and got my speed run. It was a grind but I have amazing friends to run stuff with so it makes it fun for me. The forum post was started because again beating that horse even more dead Shield = Armor to me and I got an awful response from customer service. I have never been given anything in this game and I don't expect to be. I earn what I have.

I don't mind getting a shield but the shield set is so useless... so yeah I'm glad it will be given with the sword and not as a solo reward anymore.
