    1000 points of Ultimate.

    This was back when the Werewolf Transformation cost 1000 ultimate, so a pool of that size was required.

    This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

    Thanks @DeanTheCat wow WW used to cost that much? well I did see videos with the old ultimate gain system and it looked a lot faster. shame that now only sorcerers benefit I wish other classes had some ult that would not bring you to zero per use.

    Like Temps healing ult, toggle it on and off for 40 ult per tic, NB death stroke a morph that is weaker but can use this mechanic I am stuck on DK

    The old ultimate system was indeed much faster, but the discrepancy between a Magicka AoE DoT build and that of a Stamina based build was incredible. For every ultimate the Stamina build unleashed, the Magicka build would have easily unleashed 10 ultimates in that same time period. Tanks also barely got any ultimate gain, which is why the system was normalized into the current system that it is today.

    Another issue back then was that all ultimates except Werewolf scaled off Spell Damage + Max Magicka, which meant that ultimates fired by Stam builds were as good as throwing wet tissue paper at your enemies whereas that fired by a Magicka build would decimate targets.

    The differences in ultimate usage was so high to the point that Dragonknights could unleash a Standard of Might every 5 seconds and Sorcerers could unleash a Negate by streaking through a mass of targets twice. As the Dragonknight has a passive called Battle Roar, which returns resources when an ultimate is used (It used to scale off Max Magicka too), they were virtually unkillable so long as they kept dropping their banners. Talons was the best ultimate generator in the game, as it applied a DoT, CC-ed, Dealt Damage and Critted. Add that to the old uncapped Reflective Scales preventing any effect Ranged Attack, your choices were pretty much kill yourself on the DK's scales or go dance in the DK's banner garden. The high usage of Talons was compounded by the fact that there used to be a bug in which a if a Knocked Down target was rooted, the target would be unable to break CC. As the Sword and Shield is the natural weapon of choice of a DK, this lead to many a CC-lock combo.

    This is a video of a old Dragonknight Emperor, from a long bygone era. This was the reason why DKs suffered the multitude of nerfs they got. Still, most of their old potency hinged on the old ultimate generation system and softcaps, so they got massively gutted by the changes that 1.6 brought.

    Title say it all.

    You can generate up to 1000 Ultimate, but even if you're Ultimate only costs 150, you use up ALL Ultimate with ONE activation. This is why I love Overload... it only depletes what I use during light and heavy attacks... it is the only Ultimate that doesn't blow your entire Ultimate pool with a single activation.

    I miss when Soul Harvest did more damage based on the ultimate you had stored... :cry:
