That or they could make it more similar to bolt escape, something to where it at least doesn't break or have silly delays.

It should operate like Ambush. You're using the power of Light for goodness sake, that's 186,000 mi/second. That's pretty fast and may as well be a teleport when you're only going 12 feet away. If ambush operates so smoothly, I really see no reason why this skill can't operate as smoothly, but then again Templar is just clunky. I'd like to see them make the class less clunky on the whole.

While we're at it can we remove the delay? It's absolutely ridiculous.
ZoS refuses to fix things that have been bugged for over a year. I made a forum post about Radiant destruction being dodgeable; I also saw a console forum post about radiant being dodgeable. However, no acknowledgement from ZoS on whether it's intended or not.
The same thing happens with this ability. And actually, as of this patch, sometimes I cannot cast Toppling but I can cast my other abilities. When the bug is occurring, if I try to toppling charge, my character does the animaiton for a split second, but the skill doesn't happen.
It has a delay after casting it, sometimes you can't cast it, and sometimes after casting it you can't use ANY abilities

Its simple, they cant!
They once said its bugged and it needs a fix and it even was adressed in an eso live talk but after some time they said its intended. They even said they fixed it once.
So no fix possible=intended.

Just started noticing some bad problems with it today after the patch on ps4.

Gina, i'm just curious about this but last year (around patch 1.1) class changes were in incremental patches. Is that just a thing of the past now? Right now people have waited an excessive period of time for these kind of things and having the restriction of 'once every few months' for balance passes and bug fixes is only a good way to cause frustration. Is there no way to get fixes like that out sooner?

It's not completely a thing of the past, though it isn't as common as it once was. In general, we try to keep big changes to our larger content updates (now DLCs) for various reasons, and more minor fixes and exploits to incremental patches. One of the main reasons we do this is for stability; introducing big changes or complicated bug fixes into incremental patches increases the risk of having an unstable build, which would make for a sad time for everyone. Keeping them for DLCs allows us more time for more thorough testing that we can complete with all the other major changes (including any new systems). Hope that makes sense!

1. No 140% bonus on shields for jabs
2. Last hit of Jabs somtimes doesnt even hit
3. no execute damage for Jesus beam
4. Radiant sweep not hitting anything at all (also 5m radius for an ultimade is ridiculous)
5. eclipse bug
6. global cooldown on toppling charge
7. completely useless sun shield
8. completely useless backlash due to cap not scaling with spell/weapondamage
9. completely useless eclipse thanks to unnessesary nerf to 1 taget
10. completely useless rite of passage thanks to barrier being 100 times better
11. completely useless healing ritual
12. completely useless radiant aura thanks to potion buffs
13. why is sun fire doing firedamage as only templar skill which forces me to either not use the skill because its crap since its missing the 25% from thaumaturge or put points in elemetal expert and weakening all my other abilities
Now to passives:
1. way lower proc chance of burning light than 25%
2. ballanced warrior being everything else than ballanced (missing spelldamage)
3. enduring rays lowering templar dps (backlash)
4. light weaver being completely useless thanks to rite of passage and healing ritual being useless
5. master ritualist soulgem return bugged
6. missing ressource sustain for Templars in the passives 4% is laughable (sorcs for excample have 5% plus 15% ult cost reduction plus 20% magicka and stam regen)
And why on earth would you double nerf blazing spear I cant see any logic in nerfing the dps of the class with the lowest dps
also give us back a good aoe CC like blinding flashes
