✭Bought 2 5500 Crown packs. Those I am saving up for the Akaviri and Ancient Orc motifs.
I'm going to get Glass (because I don't feel like spending 5mil in game) and lots of riding lessons as I can't log on every single day to train them like I should (normally I play heaps on weekends and sometimes during the week)I have departed into the great unknown that is outside the game and the forums, and wish you well in your Tamriel adventures!

Tyr✭✭✭✭ZOS has realesed about 70k crowns worth of crown store exclusive content since it launched in March, so buying 77k crown on discount will only last through mid year if you really want all the crown store exclusive cosmetic stuff.
Better to spend $300 dollars now than $500 dollars later.

^THIS! Some people act as if ESO is going to end soon, but since it is still a major and hugely popular MMO, we can expect it to be around for several more years. ✭✭✭✭✭I got two 5,500 packs so I have some buffer for the next limited deals or item removals. I should be getting my sum of crowns from my ESO+ next month as well which will give me a good reserve.
This is the first MMO where I have really had a chance to keep up with owning every limited edition pet/mount/item and while I dislike some of the marketing schemes used by ZOS I still like their store items and want to catch them all.

And I also agree that having to buy each pack with a separate individual transaction is exceedingly annoying.
They really need to either offer larger crown packs, or allow us to buy multiple packs with a single transaction.
For a game that is pretty much entirely reliant on their cash shop for income, you'd think they'd want to make the process as simple as possible for whales.

I don't know that that's entirely a fair assessment. As of right now it's still relatively difficult to come by a crafter that can do specific unique crafts. For example, There was this guy looking for Xivkyn Nirnhoned dagger for days in Zone before he settled for Daedric.
The issue with so called "master crafters" is that there aren't better 9 trait sets out there.
In other words, if they make the best crafting sets require 9+ traits then the actual demand and profitability of having the rare styles will improve. as it stands now, it's too easy to craft everything for yourself because there is no significant initial time sink to be the best crafter.
The Rare crafting styles from previous DLC's like Xivkyn and Glass are still relatively rare, and that's a good thing for those willing to invest the time or money into acquiring them.0 -

I know all about the change. But VR levels are simply replaced with CP. If you think the level grinding is over you are wrong. The new grind will be for CP. The catch up mechanic will help but it won't fix the problem.

I have ESO+ .... if you have ESO+ why would you buy crowns, I have 11k crowns (because of the sub) lying around and I dont even know what to do with it.... I like supporting through ESO +, I like the game, and I hope it'll help them make more content etc.. (maybe we'll get to see an entire Tamriel game afterall!!)
