Best end-game solo class/build

I've had a long break from ESO (left prior to IC), and I'm feeling tempted to make a full return after a fun couple of days last weekend. None of my characters would be considered "end-game" anymore, but they are all close. I have a big interest in experiencing the new content in Orsinium, especially the new arena. If you were me, what character would you focus on finishing to v16 and gearing out to challenge the arena? My choices:

willymchilybily✭✭✭✭sorcs and night blades are having good success in the veteran maelstrom arena completion leader boards. Whether because of class popularity or the suitability of the class to that content, I couldnt say. Its also not certain they are all magicka based or stamina. as leader boards are only split by class. but i think the expectation is magicka may have an easier time.

The set Deltia uses in that build is BoP, only drops in IC dungeons, and will require tons of grinding to acquire. As the OP is looking for a solo build this is hardly a pracctical solution.

rophez_ESO✭✭✭✭✭LostRedden, I like my orc sorc. Do you think he'd stand a chance in vet maelstrom arena as a stamina build? My DK used to be my main, and he's the only one with any PVP ranks. Do I need to get vigor on my sorc in order to have a self heal?

I always used to play him as a stamina. Do you think his race will be too much of a handicap as a magicka build?
