Best end-game solo class/build

I've had a long break from ESO (left prior to IC), and I'm feeling tempted to make a full return after a fun couple of days last weekend. None of my characters would be considered "end-game" anymore, but they are all close. I have a big interest in experiencing the new content in Orsinium, especially the new arena. If you were me, what character would you focus on finishing to v16 and gearing out to challenge the arena? My choices:

• v15 DK (imperial)
• v14 Sorc (orc)
• v14 NB (bretan)
• v12 Templar (high elf)

I only have about 180 champion points. I have a lot of v14 level gear, including most monster heads. I can craft 8 trait sets. I don't really have a ton of gold, though, and I don't have time to play all my characters anymore. Which class/build that I have available do you think solos the best?

Thanks for any tips on how to get geared up/gain champ points, etc.

I'd finish with your Templar and go stamina.

I would go for the Breton NB. The crappy orc Sorc would probably work better

Probably still better than everything else for VMSA maybe even the Breton magicka NB.

Rock the steam sorc, look at the toxic tornado build that Deltia posted on his site. It's a really solid end game solo build

sorcs and night blades are having good success in the veteran maelstrom arena completion leader boards. Whether because of class popularity or the suitability of the class to that content, I couldnt say. Its also not certain they are all magicka based or stamina. as leader boards are only split by class. but i think the expectation is magicka may have an easier time.

some people have also claimed to enjoy the templar for the job, i dont think anyone is really favouring the DK for the content. certainly not preferentially as far as I'm aware.

All I can tell you is I haven't seen a sorc not be great at something in a long while. I don't play the class but it seems like a safe choice.

Nope, in fact a magicka orc sorc would fit perfectly into the theme of Orsinium as well.

The set Deltia uses in that build is BoP, only drops in IC dungeons, and will require tons of grinding to acquire. As the OP is looking for a solo build this is hardly a pracctical solution.

In terms of optimal builds his best choice is a magicka NB.

Just use 5 hundings rage and 3-4 night mothers, it works.

LostRedden, I like my orc sorc. Do you think he'd stand a chance in vet maelstrom arena as a stamina build? My DK used to be my main, and he's the only one with any PVP ranks. Do I need to get vigor on my sorc in order to have a self heal?

Edit: can anyone recommend any good, current, builds for stam/sorc, magicka/nb? If I were going to play my Templar, I'd sure like to go magicka based - is that viable?

For stam Sorc, check out FENGRUSH'S builds on YouTube. He also regularly streams on Twitch. He uses very practical builds for the most part.

Best would be the stam sorc or magicka nb but my heart sais templar just cause I love the class
