Major Sorcery potion

Hi all,
I would like to replace the Major Sorcery buff from Entropy with a potion buff. Looking around, I have seen this is highly advised because "Entropy is a dps loss". So:
1) Which ingredients? The easiest combination seems to be Cornflower + Lady's Smock, which also gives a nice Major Intellect buff. Any suggestion for a third ingredient? Note that I am not planning to remove Inner Light from my bars, so I don't need a Major Prophecy buff. And I am doing PvE, if this makes any difference.
2) Do I understand correctly that these buffs are independent of the level of the potion? So, a Natural Water will be as good as a Star Dew for my purpose?
3) How do potion cooldown and duration compare? Is it possible to have the buff up all the time? Assuming all alchemy passives are unlocked, of course.
Thank you all in advance!

    Try this combination

This combination makes what is known as a "Detection Potion", which grants Major Sorcery, Major Intellect and Detection Radius increase. But really, if you are not doing any PvP, you can save on the Wormwood and just go Cornflower + Lady's Smock, as the addition of Water Hyacinth will provide Major Prophecy, which you don't require.

Alchemical brews have their potency based on the effect of the solvent, which means that the purer the solvent used, the greater the effect. In this case, the better the solvent, the longer the duration the buffs last and the more Magicka is restored on consumption of the potion.

Using Lorkhan's Tears, Major Sorcery and Major Intellect lasts for 50 seconds, so it's perfectly possible to keep these buffs going permanently, provided you drink potions on cooldown. Glyphs of Alchemical Acceleration cut the cooldown between potion use by 5 seconds per glyph, but do not work on brews made from Lorkhan's Tears, due to it's innate requirement of only working for potions 5 levels lower then you. Therefore, a Glyph of Alchemical Potency always wins out. Glyphs of Alchemical Potency are important if you wish to keep some of the shorter effects up for any decent amount of time (Invisibility, Detection, Immovability)

This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.
