    I have one question,

how did someone know about this bug, why did someone try reaming trap and saw, oh 1hit bug found.
I mean, why the hell did even someone wanted to Slot trap on purpose?

Because it grants Minor Force, 12% extra damage on critical hits. It's an integral part of my build since IC came out

Trap now gives Minor Force (Only way to get that afaik) that increases Critical Hit damage by 12% if a target is caught by the trap. That was apparently incentive enough for people to start using Trap.

Insanity is the price of Knowledge. Herma-Mora and Sheogorath, this one bows before thee.

This one does not advocate for any class to be nerfed. There are far deeper underlying issues then a simple "Class Imbalance". The Champion System is the problem. Not classes.

The fact that you carried 20k stones with you through enemy sewers or just sewers in general... I'm not sure if I should call that being brave or stupid.

Only had about 5K stones on me to start. The other 15K were my net spoils from a sorc it took me 20 minutes to kill. Got that fat loot and was making for the sewers (my own faction's sewers) to go bank!

isn't it sad when you think to your self. Why didn't i just die to an NPC and release instead of playing properly.

I don't notice the exploit on PS4 by the way. That said I'm farming IC as a guest in a campaign where my faction is almost alone, probably some other unlucky bugger getting trapped.

The problem is that you KNOW people are abusing this exploit......ZoS won't ban the people doing it. They blatantly ignore their own ToS when it comes to people exploiting a known bug to gain an unfair advantage....isn't that right @ZOS_GinaBruno here's a chance to get your ban tram to ban all the people getting an unfair advantage because they are abusing this bug and speeding up the HORRIBLE rng you forced on us. Meanwhile all the legit players suffer through rng at a slugs pace.

Stop just banning forum people who speak Ill of you guys. Start banning people where it counts....you know the game

the issue @OGLezard is unless they come out and state something as an exploit it is very hard to know if you are exploiting or not and what exploits deserve a ban?

traps is fairly obvious exploit. but what about caltrops outside doors to stop entry, eg arena. Is that not also an exploit? you need to define and draw a line to be able to unilaterally ban/suspend with impunity. but then you risk highlighting an exploit to the whole community with no known fix (as yet?) and do they have the man power to know who is using the exploit some people use trap and dont insta-kill whole groups. is there a way to detect the difference and should they spend personnel resources just to make an algorithm to identify abuse from use. why not use that resource to fix the issue.

You see though, if zos would actually come out and acknowledge this as an exploit to gain an unfair advantage with the horribad rng system, i.e. silly fast killing bosses for loot lottery chances, and actually temp bans or perma bans, people wouldn't abuse stuff because then they would know zos actually has a pair of balls and will ban them.

That's the entire reason people even exploit this game as much as they do. Everyone knows zos won't do anything about it. So to not exploit just puts yourself at a disadvantage. Just look at all the pvp exploits we death with........no one ever got banned for those. I know people who got PERMA banned for offending people in zone chat........ like gtfo

Saturn I completely agree with you. It was a huge fight in our guild last night with players justifying that it is ok to use the exploit because of the set piece drop rate. I was so proud of my achievements until I seen them cheapened by exploiters posting them in guild chat. I don't care who gets mad at me L2P. We spent hours and hours getting our strats down for Ire of the Storm, First to the Top, etc, and started to take other guildies through to hear "Oh you're not using the exploit, yea that takes to long"

Exactly, it's just a bunch of half-arsed excuses, like "Oh the drop-rate sucks" or "Oh I don't like PvE, but want PvE gear". People always try to excuse exploiting, when DSA was relevant people did it because "everyone else is exploiting too". People will always find ways to justify cheating. I just wish ZOS was a lot faster at fixing them, it's not like they don't know about it already..

I was at the DC base tonight in the IC Azura's Star PC/NA server, here's what happened . . .

    1) AD grouped placed trap beast traps in the corridors near the DC base and they infinitely trapped some DC players

    2) Some DC players killed in this manner were glitched out and slid around on the floor flat in their dead poses just moving around

    3) A wandering horror got glitched at the DC base and was trapped near the corner of a wall effectively pinning some players near the base

    4) My character got glitched and I was unable to attack anything or enter the DC.base

    It was a NIGHTMARE! !

I got killed by some EP using the trap two weeks ago before most people knew about it. It also glitched out my toon, the solution I found was to use /stuck and have someone ress you at the base. It just makes the exploit so much worse that it *** up your toon if you are killed by it..

Just remember that, like ALL exploits and hacks, it is only the other alliances that use it. Your alliances succeeds despite being underpopulated, because you and your friends are more skilled than the opponents. The other alliances, by contrast, use hacks, cheats, exploits, and population imbalance to defeat you.

Thus it ever was, and thus it ever shall be.

@Saturn People wouldnt be using them if ZoS would actually BAN (i know a scary concept for ZoS IN GAME) people for abusing them. Instead ZoS will ban people on the forums and the sure fire way to get banned in game is to not agree with someone in chat or make fun of them (true story) yet exploiters can run rampant for MONTHS and when zos finally fixes them everyone who abused the living crap out of them dont even get a warning!

Wonder what @ZOS_RichLambert thinks of this...... love the game, love the direction it is going, HATE flat out HATE their policies when it comes to bans, i.e. lets not ban exploiters but hope no one uses exploits until we fix them so they cant
