Undaunted Leveling

With fewer and fewer PC/Mac players leveling new characters it has become extremely hard to get together groups for the Undaunted pledges - perhaps especially PUG groups. It is not uncommon to see players lf1m tank or healer for an hour or more and then give up.

Part of the problem is that, of course, the group tool was broken for so long that now nobody is willing to even try it (except he newest players which then makes for the weakest kind of group.) So, when lfg you can basically sit in a zone spamming messages while not able to do anything useful in that zone (except bank, and the like) or can go do something useful or fun in a level appropriate zone and give up on undaunted.

There are so many other grinds in this game that is not very reasonable to generally ask guildmates to partake in Undaunted quest grinds that they do not need.

I don't know what a resolution might be. Cutting the time to level up Undaunted in half at least perhaps?

Since every single dungeon is on the Pledge rotation now its really not that hard to get all the dungeons done with a little patience, simply do the Silver and Gold pledge everyday, most people still do that so they can get the key. The problem is that most people simply choose to play DPS so Tanks and Healers are in short supply, especially tanks. With the update changing the way stamina regen works for blocking I know some people simply didn't even try but abandoned their Tank characters. Which is a shame since tanking is still very much doable, it takes more skill than before that is true but its not impossible or we would not be able to complete content. So simply stick with it, I see no reason for lowering the levels needed for undaunted, its fine where it is.

Yes, I know stick with it. I have three characters already leveled in Undaunted and one level 8 Undaunted character. It isn't me I am thinking about.

Go sit in /zone for Undaunted - are those players enjoying their gaming experience as much as they should be? How many of them leave the game due to the difficulty in even putting a group together and how that leads to very long grind times to level up Undaunted?

I came back to the game this weekend, started leveling a Templar for healing.

The reason I quit was because it was taking upwards of 3-4 hours to find dungeon groups on my V1 DPS Nightblade. Additionally I missed a lot of dungeon skill points along the way because of this.

I love this game but the difficulty of finding groups drives me away, I'm hoping being a healer will help the process but so far my attempts to get a FG group on the new char have failed despite being a healer. The grind gets stale when you are forced to solo all the time and I'd love this game a lot more if I could actually find groups instead of playing by myself.

Don't have any RL friends who are interested in this game and have yet to find a good guild that's willing to either help me out with dungeons or simply group with me on their own chars. Some have offered to help but then you get into the guild and nobody even replies to anything you say.

I know my biggest issue is that I haven't found a good guild or made any friends in game but it's not from lack of trying on my part. I really want to play this mmo with other people and stop spending countless hours trying to find them.

Completing some of the challenges helps increase skill as well, such as the Dungeon Blocker, Damage Dealer, etc. You can work towards those in Public Dungeons, if you haven't already completed those achievements.
