Tips to solo a portal in IC?

So have any of you been in the IC sewers alone, and ran across a portal that has the anchor pinion on it, and beat it alone? Any tips for someone (besides L2P, thats what I am doing right now). I personally was trying last night to pull the mobs, then run just far away that melee will reset but casters stay, then kill the casters and then the melee are cake. problem became that i couldn't run anywhere when it spawned a harvester, which kills me in 3 hits (I am a medium armored 2 hander with a sword/shield backup). Im considering going Heavy Sword/shield main so i have survivability. But any other tips? yes, finding friends is good to do it, but without ps4 text chat, i run around the covenant base bothering people "who wants to explore sewer with me?" with no avail.

Kas✭✭✭✭✭imho abilities that can be spoammed for offense + defense work nicely. e.g. puncturing sweeps and carve. haven't tried carve but with proper equip you can solo the portals with closes eyes by just spammign sweeps on a magicka templar@bbu - AD/EU

Dunkmeister✭✭✭What class? I am able to solo with my magicka dps DK using reflects, obsidian shard for heals, and aoe's. It's tricky cause you have to be very mobile and aware and spam those shards when you take a big hit. ✭All depends on your class, use attacks that heal you. I only play magicka classes so for templar - puncturing sweep, DK - obsidian Shard, Sorc - Surge, Nightblade - not sure what its called but I know they have a skill that heals on attack.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭It depends on your class, but generally, if you have good a good balance between self-healing and DPS, you should be able to do it.
I solo the portals as a magicka nightblade. I spam Funnel Health for single target DPS and Sap Essence for AoE DPS; both of these attacks heal me. I also have a resto staff that I use to spam Ward Ally if things get too dicey. I keep a magicka+health crafted potion handy for emergencies.Nightfighters ― PC/NA and PC/EU

✭not sure as I can only solo small mobs but I agree it is annoying to find a group, because if they are already in a group they are deaf to you and some don't care then there are some days I fell like it would be easier to group with the covenant...PS4 NA

aco5712✭✭✭✭✭stam DK here, i like to back up so the 2 melee mobs follow me and then i root with talons and then i charge at the casters in the back and kill them. Repeat that until its done. Using a banner/meteor also helps alot. Vigor + Igenous + rally is enough healing.Banned for Naming and Shaming exploiters. Great ideology ZOS.

- You want the Rally morph of Momentum - when your health gets low, you can hit it again for a relatively big heal (scales higher the longer the skill has been active)
- See if you can't earn enough AP to get Vigor
- Try Evasion/Shuffle to avoid damage rather than shield or heal through all of it.
- CC is your friend. Save your magicka for Petrify/Fossilize or Talons. This won't really help on the harvesters, but it should make it easier to deal with the others.
