Buff biting jabs for AOE

This is literally the only skill stamina templar has to AOE, but it's so terrible in high ranked dungeon. As it stands now it only competes with wrecking blow and I believe it's so unnecessary and useless, where it could have a better potential to help a templar have more options, as it stands now everyone who wants to aoe dps with stamina MUST use dual wield, and I believe this to be a bad thing since not everyone likes/wants to dual wield, when we could have a simple skill that could work for aoe while keeping versatility.

My proposal is simple, buff biting jabs so it's not so good vs single target, but is a lot better for AOE, we can still use other skills for single target dps and it will serve a purpose.

But that is kind of even crappier then Biting Jabs when it comes to AoE. Jabs is the staple of most Stamplar DPS builds, and you risk incurring the wrath of all the Stamplars out there if you nerf their ST capability of Jabs.

Might I suggest Bombard or Acid Spray? It's quite a good AoE if you build for it, capable of rivaling Steel Tornado (More damage vs Snare/Root). My acid spray hits for 10k crits.

Also, what's stopping you from Dual Wielding + Jabbing? Crit Rush/Invasion with one bar, when you get close, swap and jab them to death. Dual Wield incidentally offers the highest possible Weapon Damage achievable in the game, which means massive damage Jabs.

Well, the problem isn't exactly that Biting Jabs is too weak, but that steel tornado is too *** strong.
There is neither any stamina nor magicka AoE that can compare to that skill.

But as in PvP, Biting Jabs are already considered pretty strong. So I am all for a buff that increases it's AoE to be on par with steel tornado (of course, single target damage shouldn't be reduced) *grabs popcorn

The problem with biting jabs as an aoe is it is scaled to do the same amount of aoe damage as steel tornado and arrow spray in most cases but is limited to a tiny cone in front of you. They could either make it so when hitting some1 with it single target the aoe splash behind them has increased range, or make it so the ability is just higher aoe damage but still restricted to its smaller cone.
