BUG - Lethal arrow not getting any bonus damage from Champion Point Tree Ritual -> Thaumaturge

Yeah after the patch Lethal arrow gets absolutely no damage bonus from poison from Ritual -> Thaumaturge. Fix this asap or this skill has become useless.

Not cool, my build is totaly based around this.

I read in the patch notes:

Poison will now scale off of Weapon Damage or Spell Damage.

So figured if anything stuff would be better now, I wonder if this was intended or another fix something break another.

I think it was to help stamina bow users from having to split there cp between Thaumaturge and Mighty. Now you can just put them all into mighty!

Honostly though Lethal Arrow should be hitting for more when it scales off wpn dmg.

This is a bug, it should scale of Thaumaturge.

Can you test if you get an increase with mighty?

Not a bug it was changed to mighty as mighty is based with weapon damage its in the patch notes

I can indeed confirm that Lethal arrow is not befitting from thaumaturge, or mighty for that matter. This is severely hindering many bow builds that run a poison setup. Can we get a look into this @ZOS_RichLambert or @ZOS_GinaBruno ? While we're on the subject, did the passive Precise Strikes in CP ever get fixed to give the correct amount of critical damage? These are destroying many build's competitiveness in PvE and PvP.

Mighty increases PHYSICAL damage. Poison scales with Weapon Damage but is still a POISON, therfor should scale with Thaumaturge.

The whole Bow tree is a mess, it needs revision/love/attention.

What about lethal arrow/poison arrow scaling with spell penetration instead of armour penetration, thats another messy thing.

@ZOS_RichLambert @ZOS_GinaBruno Can you get the team to correct,clarify, LOVE the bow tree???? Archers are subpar.

Well thats disheartening, I just dumped 10 cp into thaumaturge to get more dmg on lethal arrow and poison injection, its boosting poison injection atleast tho? hmm

Thaumaturge does affect Lethal Arrow, Poison Arrow and Acid Spray. There is just a bug with the tooltip that makes it appear that it's not scaling. As far as I know, only physical damage skills boosted by mighty do not suffer from this tooltip bug.

I tested this by shooting a rat with Lethal Arrow at point blank range, while not in sneak. Rats make good testing dummies for this sort of thing as they have 0 Armor/Resists. Shot was done at point blank to rule out the possibility of Long Shots warping the results.

My Lethal Arrow tooltip is around 12k (Going off memory, did the actual test 1-2 weeks ago). I have 100 points into Thaumaturge, so I should be getting a 25% boost to damage inflicted. The result of a non-crit shot with Lethal was somewhere around the ballpark of 16k, which completely falls in line with what I'd expect.
