Has ZOS actually ever listened to community feedback on anything? Like ever? I really wanna know.
Dear staff at ZOS,
I must apologize, I've kept a positive attitude since closed beta, but this time I am obliged to come with some corrective advice.
We trudgingly accepted the Nightmare Courser, the Frost Mare, the Mind Shriven horse, even the Skeletal and Drauger polymorphs.
But can't you see how far outside the Elder Scrolls universe these new mounts and polymorhps are?
@Lawrence_Schick Can you truly, and honestly say that you feel that these potential new crown store items fit the Elder Scrolls universe?
Because I certainly can not.
So please do reconsider this choice and give us rather something that actually belong in this great game, or at least a very good reason for why they belong here.
Thanks for reading,
Have a good day.

People sure put a lot of value into a "promise"
I'm sorry, but good intentions do not make the world go round.
I wouldn't actually mind if ZOS scheduled holidays and festivals like they do in WoW, as long as they were semi lore friendly. (However, the minute they form an in-house band and play their recording over and over again, I'm out. Same thing for carnival games and rides.) But this isn't even that. This is blatant RL holiday marketing.RAGUNAnoOne wrote: »If you guys are interested, here is the ES dates and holidays list perhaps @ZOS can create special in-game events on these days for example if you talk on tales and tallows you get attacked by spirits: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Calendar
The mounts aren't really lore-breaking.
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Shadowmere - Shadowmere is a unkillable force of nature
http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Arvak - Arvak is skeletal summonable horse
If you can conjure elementals and undead, its not ridiculous that you can do it with horses - just because we hadn't seen it yet in an ES game doesn't mean it was outside the lore. Seeing Senche outside of Elsweyr, seeing Nords and Orcs and Altmer riding senche, is more lore-breaking than undead mounts.
Ugh... why do we have to keep making this point. Arvak and Shadowmere are ONE-OF-A-KIND creatures. TES Doesn't have every Tom, Rick, and Harry riding around on these kinds of mounts.
