I hate the crown system. It obfuscates the price which is why they are doing it but then they make a item a lot of people are going to want a price that forces people to buy a extra amount of crowns.
Please remove the stupid crown system and just put prices on the stuff in dollars.

Actually in the UK they are trying to get rid of the 1p coin, all prices will have to be rounded up, so instead of "buy this car for 9.999.99" it'll be a straight 10k.
Saves huge amounts on making a largely irrelevant coin since no where (such as ticket machines etc) actually takes them.
The 3000 crowns has always been an option, hardly worth them adding in 2500 to the store purely for the dlc is there?
I fail to see how this is LOL. Since there is no free will, any psychology trick is just exploiting the weaknesses of the human mind.Malediktus wrote: »Wish there would be laws against using such psychology tricks.
Where is the LOL button when you need it?

They could offer a way to buy the DLC for straight money instead of going the crown route.
Noone is a person of free will. There is no way free will can exist based on what science knows so far.Malediktus wrote: »Malediktus wrote: »Wish there would be laws against using such psychology tricks.

You are person with a free will (at least I hope you are)...so nobody forces you to buy anything. If you still do it is your own decision...no matter how good it is it's just a game, no not really eccential for your life...so if you dislike the crown system you don't have to buy crown, if you do you think it is worth it...if nobody would have bought those crown I'm pretty sure it would have been sold for money. And as I allready mentioned you can do that on steam...
(Sorry for beeing so philosophical on a friday)

Hot dogs in a can? What abomination is this? Why are hot dogs usually sold in cans of eight and hot dog buns in packs of six?

@Malediktus
There is free will. You will never find actual truth through mainstream science. We are all conscious beings having an experience in 3rd density vessels, or biological computers, whatever you prefer to call them.
If you've done your research, you'll find that mainstream science, and the whole education system is there for reasons and has many hidden agendas to mislead, misinform and control the perceptions of the masses (slaves from their chornically-imbalanced, narcissistic perspective) so that we don't find the actual truth, because if most people knew the truth about themselves -- then we wouldn't be in the situation we're in right now. It's okay though, the world is waking up. More people are seeing the truth.
I'm not particularly stating that science is evil though, or that it's all bull -- no, I'm saying that it's filtered, controlled, censored, watered-down, etc -- the reason for this goes so deep that we'd be sitting here for days and most people won't comprehend anyway, due to their psychological programming, etc. Alternative media is the way to go in this day & age, and more people are realizing this.
There is still truth in science, it's just suppressed and not taken seriously.
1/ When Einstein postulated E=MC2 what he did was prove scientifically that ALL is energy. There is only energy.
2/ No psychoanalyst or psychiatrist of any level of intelligence or note (including Jung and Freud), have any idea what 'consciousness' actually is or anything of it's real roots. (i.e. what caused the cause that caused the cause - and still causes it to cause again and again).
3/ Energy does not know 'reality'.
4/ Without consciousness, energy would have no 'cause' to exist.
5/ Without consciousness, no 'reality' would exist.
6/ This is only a 3 Dimensional 'reality' that, through consciousness, we created that became 'real'.
7/ There are infinite 'realities' in which both energy and consciousness pervade all.
8/ The term, 'As I Think Therefore I Am' means that, as we 'think' there is only this one 'reality' then, so it is.
9/ If we 'think' ourselves into any other 'reality' then so will it be.
10/ If we 'think' ourselves into many 'realities' then so will it be.
11/ Jung proved the existence of 'collective consciousness' - which means that, apart from 'Individuated' consciousness, we are all a fragment of consciousness as a whole in which 'the whole' is universal. Our minds are not trapped in any corner of that whole.
12/ There is no limit, beginning or end to either energy or consciousness. Thus, as a fragment of both and of the whole, we too are just as limitless - just as immortal.
13/ 'As I Think Therefore I Am' also means that, by choice, we enjoy and keep the form we now represent (bodies) and will keep using it in any reality we choose to experience. Thus, 'as we think' also means we have souls that are the composite of energy, light and consciousness - just as we want it to be - just as we created them.
14/ the 'soul' (the real us within this machine/body, is the actual 'us' and not the 'real' us. This body is only a car we drive for now - and we, the real us, are the driver of each machine.
Thus and, due to our being energy, consciousness, light and being, may travel wherever we wish whenever we want throughout all consciousness; all realities anytime we wish.
It requires no 'belief' system on our part. It is just a matter of realising who and what we truly are and then living it.
...and this, is only the beginning...
Meanwhile, one cannot always prove or disprove a fourth - fifth - sixth etc dimensional existence using 3 Dimensional tools, rules, specifics or understanding. In many respects, the only way to experience a fourth dimensional state is to actually experience it personally and not wait for a carte blanche proof that can never be.
Imagine a two-dimensional being attempting to explain our third. It can't be done.
It is what it is and that, whatever 'it' is, is how it will be for anyone anywhere on any level of existence.
And so, does the soul exist? Is Astral Travelling 'real' or achievable?
This choice is one that can only be made on a personal basis and the answers to any questions like these are the responsibility of the chooser.
It can be no other way.
Hot dogs in a can is made from cows *** you know.
You wouldn't kiss one, so why eat one?
I agree that they should offer Crowns in the amounts of the items that they sell. It's a marketing ploy though to price it at 2500 stones and then only offer a pack of 3000. There's no reason that they couldn't do this. Then again, from a business perspective, there's no reason to either....
This is a lot like the PSN or Xbox Live. If there's something you want that only costs 2 dollars, you still have to put at least 5 dollars onto the account.
I would always just pay for a couple months of subscription, before actually buying crowns.

It's different because you can use that money for any game on the platform. It is a go-between currency for Microsoft to pay game developers. You can't even use crowns to buy expansions for Dishonored, or contribute to your purchase of Fallout 4. It is a single use currency with no redemption value and it cannot be traded. Most people who have crowns today will quit this game in the future leaving free money on the table as a mandatory "Tip".
