Why are hot dogs usually sold in cans of eight and hot dog buns in packs of six? :D

I think you can get 8 across the board now but back in the day you needed to buy 3 packs of 'dogs and 4 packs of buns to even it out.

Was buying hot dogs for holiday BBQ this week. Some of the flat packages have only seven hot dogs. The dual layer ones are all 4x2. They must think if they have them flat in a row people won't notice the shortfall.

That's actually clever because with the 8 dogs, 6 buns thing you can get an even spread for a BBQ at 24, 3x dogs, 4x buns. With 7 you have to buy 42 to get even, which i think is actually the answer to life, the universe and everything, and that might help resolve some of the debates above on determinism v. free will.

People have no need to worry, after the complaints here the only certainty is that when Orsinium comes out ZOS will charge 3000 crowns for it instead of 2500 crowns and save themselves the grief of threads like this.

See, the thing is, life doesn't always work out according to plan so be happy with what you've got, because you can always get a hot dog.

I love hot dogs. with onions and mustard and sauerkraut!

Wish there would be laws against using such psychology tricks.

Actually in the UK they are trying to get rid of the 1p coin, all prices will have to be rounded up, so instead of "buy this car for 9.999.99" it'll be a straight 10k.

    More like 9,999.95

I hate the crown system. It obfuscates the price which is why they are doing it but then they make a item a lot of people are going to want a price that forces people to buy a extra amount of crowns.

Please remove the stupid crown system and just put prices on the stuff in dollars.

Wow, I love all those big words you used in that statement! I'm very impressed with your obvious high intellect son. bow.gif

Seriously? You have people here claiming final answers on significant questions of the universe and you go after me? What word did I use that middle schoolers and up shouldn't know?
