Boost biting jabs

With damage shields remaining non-critable due to sorc tears on the forums, can templars now get a cookie since half of the effect of their biting jabs is rendered void on half of the PvP targets.

"Increases Critical Strike rating" -- does nothing since everybody runs around with non-critable damage shields.

Use the shield breaker set an a bow. No more shield against you (but everyone else, you have to make a choice).
Sorc too have great synergy with crits, because of surge (our only heal). Same for nightblade who have some good bonus with crits. And for all magicka class with the scathing mage set (don't know if it's proc on a shield, some other set proc on them now).

They removed already the Increased critical chance on low health targets in 1.6. To be more clear, they nerfed jabs 3 times in 1.6.
    1. Remove of Increased critical chance on low health targets
    2. Damage reduction from 170% to 140%
    3. Free CC immunity for the enemy after knockback (0.5s)

A little buff would be nice. Jabs used to be not bad in 1.6 But now with the increased damage mitigation, the enemy just has too much time to react and is not under pressure anymore because the damage is so small.
Just swap the knockback with an immobilized so we are still able to stun/root the enemy. Or increase the dmg back to 170%...

The problem with jabs'cc is that you can perma-cc an enemy if you don't give him a cc-immunity. A longer cc or no cc at all should be better than this free cc-immunity, I think. Or give to jabs an interrupt instead of the actual cc.

They could give a immobilized instead of a knockback.

No it was not removed in 1.6.. it gives Major Savagery increasing critical rating for 8 seconds.
Unless something was changed in the IC patch and you meant to refer to that patch?

They should make shields crit. Cos seriously it's a game breaker. But then again it proves that shield stackers have no real skill

They should remove the knockback effect from both morphs and make it a snare instead.

    No free immunity.

Have a level 31 templar I enjoy playing on the nonvet, but that damn knockback ........

To be fair, the 170%-140% wasn't a nerf because it occurred during the PTS. Technically they buffed Jabs from 110% to 140% single-target damage in live versions.

Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

Only when sorcs with no skill do the crying. Anything else falls on deaf ears. I say let's boycott and let the stackers play with themselves

The last hit of Puncturing Strike also often does not do any damage at all. It does the push back, but no damage. Not always but quite often.
