Something fun would be to be able to not use real world money to obtain a mount other than a horse. Takes some fun out of the game for me when I see there are only horses that are purchasable in game with the money you have earned.
You can make money so easily in this game you just have to give up crafting to do it lol

Yeah earning gold in game isn't a problem. Maybe I should have been more clear. I don't like that more mounts are available on the crown store than in game. You have to spend real world money to get anything other than a horse. There should be other mounts you can earn in game that are unique as well. Perhaps a Fighters Guild, Mages Guild, and Undaunted specific mount by completing some unique questlines.
Technically there is a reason why that post exists separately. I don't go copying and pasting people's ideas unless its in this thread.

That was fun for you? I hated that timed minigame. It's a good idea for RPG's to never follow Fable for anything.Make a minigame out of item crafting, like the rhythm based minigame in Fable 2 for blacksmithing.
The amount of tempers you put into it will determine the difficulty of the minigame and the rest is player skill (Can opt out to current RNG based failure rate).
That will distinguish the good crafters from the bad, as better smiths can reliably provide higher quality gear with fewer tempers.
A key part of the system is adjusting the minigame's difficulty so the 'average' player has a Win:Loss ratio approximately equal to the Success Chance if they had opted out to the current system.
Not sure how to implement something similar for consumable crafts.
