You have paid for a service: and you got that service. How many hours of gameplay did you do?
100? 200? 500?
Haven't you got enough? You even want new content for free?
And we will even get for FREE if subbed.
I think some of you are or really really poor (and there is nothing bad in being poor, but stop begging for free stuff) or kids with a huge self-entitlement problem.

You buy the bread and pay for bread delivery every 4-6 weeks.
If you really have been one year subbed, then they will have given you plenty of crowns with which to purchase it.
Hell if you have been TWO MONTHS subbed, then they have given you enough crowns.
The only way this could possibly be valid is either:
1) You are not a legal adult and are not capable of purchasing subscriptions or crowns, OR
2) You believe you are part of a gaming HiveMind and because some members have contributed, that is supposed to count on your behalf, OR
3) You spent all your crowns already in which case why weren't all those potions and mounts and costumes free, why is it you can have those and we can't oh wait
Merlin13KAGL wrote: »You buy the bread and pay for bread delivery every 4-6 weeks.
When the bread arrives (sometimes it doesn't):When the next delivery is due, you are notified that the delivery truck has broken down and they're working to get it up and running as soon as possible so you can continue to enjoy the bread delivery service you've already paid for.
- Sometimes it's late.
- Sometimes it's underbaked.
- Sometimes it's not even bread.
You continue to pay. One year in, you are notified that bread delivery service is now free to everyone, but if you continue to pay, you'll get 10% more bread.
As a one time consolation, they offer you 1 free slice of bread for every month you've paid for bread delivery service.
1.5 years in, they announce the delivery truck is now repaired and will be providing new and improved bread (that they were baking the entire time the truck was broken down) soon, but only if you pay again.

We kept paying, on the basis that new content was going to be released. Fall came, we got Craglorn. That was it.
I. C. Was pushed back..... *** it, if I have to explain it you won't get it. Have fun with your dlc and all the other stuff coming soon™. Maybe once spell crafting is in game along with the rest of thier incomplete game, I'll buy dlc. But not untill they can prove it's worth it. After all this time, their dlc had better be perfectly bug free. Bet you it's not.
Any way, see you this fall.
yes because you pay 13€ a month only for playing lol....think

You kept paying because you were playing the game and thought you were getting your money's worth at the time. If you thought it wasn't worth it until the new content came out then you had the option to stop paying until then.
Before march we must pay every month 13€ to play the game.
Now we had ~6 months without paying 13€ every month to get full access to that game and pay again ~17€ (2500 crones) to get full access again. That's a good deal for us players!
~78 € vs ~ 17 €
ZeniMax Online General Manager Mat Firor confirmed with GameStar that the upcoming MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will not have a free-to-play model. That's surprising given that Rift, Star Wars: The Old Republic and many others in the genre attempted the subscription-only path and seemingly failed, adding the F2P model. However Firor believes The Elder Scrolls Online will have a fighting chance, and based on our hands-on during E3 2013, we might have to agree.
"Charging a flat monthly (or subscription) fee means that we will offer players the game we set out to make, and the one that fans want to play," he said. "Going with any other model meant that we would have to make sacrifices and changes we weren't willing to make."
Like all other subscription-based offerings, The Elder Scrolls Online will come with 30 days of free play after purchasing the game. Customers will have access to everything the virtual world will have to offer, and then have a choice to continue on with a flat monthly fee once the trial expires. Additional information about discounts and whatnot will be revealed at a later date, he said.
"The Elder Scrolls games are all about allowing the player to go where they want, be who they want, and do what they want," he said. "We feel that putting pay gates between the player and content at any point in game ruins that feeling of freedom, and just having one small monthly fee for 100% access to the game fits the IP and the game much better than a system where you have to pay for features and access as you play."
Firor went on to add that the decision to go with a monthly subscription model has no reflection on the team's opinion of other online game revenue models like free-to-play, buy-to-play and so on. They're proven models, but the subscription-based version is the one that works best with The Elder Scrolls Online. It's a premium experience backed by professional customer support.
"Players will appreciate not having to worry about being 'monetized' in the middle of playing the game, which is definitely a problem that is cropping up more and more in online gaming these days," he said. "The fact that the word 'monetized' exists points to the heart of the issue for us: We don't want the player to worry about which parts of the game to pay for - with our system, they get it all."
Firor added that the team is already working on content that will be rolled out once The Elder Scrolls Online goes live. This content will include new skills, quest lines, zones, dungeons and more – this is in addition to end-game content and the Player-vs-Player portion. An exact release schedule hasn't been etched in stone, but the team is shooting for a four to six week period between each content release.
Pricing details will be provided later, but the company plans to charge $14.99 per month, and cheaper rates for customers who choose to buy multiple months. Game time cards will be supported as well as a variety of other payment options.

Most who are upset believe that ZOS did not release the IC last year like they announced, because they knew the game was going B2P so they could then sell us this extra content and just keep saying...SOON
It worked........

That being said if you're in DC and you've read this read get ready to buck up and defend home keeps at a drop of a moments notice. If you're a pve only type player you can still fire seige weapons and rez fallen comrades. If were going to battle for access and we usually (now better) have a lower pop its time for everyone to pitch in and leave the hang-ups about pvp at the door. Otherwise I imagine something similar to 'buff campaigns' now 'access campaigns' will be happening shortly after launch of IC.
I don't understand what the problem here is. This isn't a surprise it has been said over and over again DLC will be paid content unless you are an ESO+ member. What is wrong with people? L2R issue?

Everyone needs to stop feeling entitled, it's not a very attractive look.
The whole point of the subscription model is that content like this is part is part of the service. A lot of us basically funded this content from launch, and are now being charged again to purchase the content we already funded with our $15/month.
Either way, this shouldn't be more than $10 in crowns. $15 MAX.
The subscription model hasn't existed since March, as a result of it failing. You don't deserve anything. Did players who started FF14 when it fell flat on its face for a year have to pay once it was relaunched? Of course they did. Buying a bad product doesn't entitle you to free stuff just because it improves.wenxue2222b16_ESO wrote: »Every new zone from B2P day onwards was always going to be paid for DLC. I agree. They've been abundantly clear. Never once have they even hinted that this content would be free.
@MCMancub actually we did not have to buy ARR. It was a free upgrade. During the time they were making it, FF14 was free for ANYONE to play. Then when it went into ARR anyone who owned the original got it for free, and anyone who played it for free during the year they were developing ARR got it for half off. Sooooooo.......
But do you still have to pay the subscription to play it? Subscribers got enough crowns to purchase the DLC.Sooooooo.......
@MCMancub yes you still have to pay the sub fee to play FF14:ARR but before ARR was launched, FF14 was free for anyone to play(during the revamping process). You, however, said they had to rebuy ARR which was not true and I know because I was there while it sucked, there when it still sucked and was free, and there for a few months after ARR launched
Pardon me. I was referring to the medium at which you can play the game (subscription). Not the direct act of purchasing the game.
Yes, they have said DLC would be paid content. What we were trying to put across was that, as Imperial City is core PvP content and contains in-game access restrictions, it should have been included under "free core gameplay updates for everyone" and not "optional paid DLC". Gameplay updates are free, DLC is not - we wanted IC to be a gameplay update, not a DLC.I don't understand what the problem here is. This isn't a surprise it has been said over and over again DLC will be paid content unless you are an ESO+ member. What is wrong with people? L2R issue?
