I'd love to see a factor added in such as time played in cyrodiil during that campaign to help balance out the raw AP totals and make it an even more skillbased measurement, but then again I have seen people who only homed on a 30 day campaign, get to the top 10 in the last 4-6 days when it was already active for 20+. Ultimately, a trophy is meant to be an achievement. If you want the best of the best titles or badges to show to your friends... then earn them. Asking for the ones you are unable to pull off to be removed completely defeats the point of trophies.

What time is required to actually get this?

Could you jump in one of the really short campaigns and have a chance to get it?

Can it be in a guest campaign?

I love collecting tropheys as well and this one does worry me that I will never get it, but if its a matter of taking holidays and doing a week long campaign non stop to get it then I could find a way.

The rest of the trophies ar very enjoyable but lets be honest a hand full of your devolopers could reach that title for themselves. Stop ignoring our wishes and do something for us costumers. Its not normal that so many people are hating this game. really strange . Its only a trophy I know. But trophies should be doable for evevryone not only for people who not have a goal in their life. And yes because of this trophy this game ist not so much enjoyable for me. sorry Anti trophy hunters to dissapointing you . lets look to Ubisoft. The game Watch dogs. I dont play this game but there was a trophy for playing a drink game. This drink game was so annoying and frustrating that players wrote to ubisoft to patch or do it moe reachable to obtain. hmmm what ubisoft did ? yes they dont make it easier they only do it doable for everyone.
you can play this game for 10.00000 hours and not getting it. This doenst make sense. This is not a trphy should be.

Personally I think you're mistaken. To expect to get "100%" of anything in an MMO game is just not the right way MMOs should be approached in my opinion. Certainly, there is nothing wrong with striving for 100% completion of something, but bitterly complaining when you're unable to obtain it, I think, is rather childish.

The time is hard to tell, but maximizing your time is key. The best time to do it is right after a campaign restarts, and it is much easier in Non-Vet. Emperor can only be done in your home campaign, the difference for home and guess is home counts for leaderboard scoring and rewards.

Run with a group, use a mic. Learn who the active Group Leaders of your campaign are, and run with, or at least communicate with them on coordinating attacks. Don't be one of those people who stand around wondering what to do next. Make sure you roll with an organized group, that listens to their crown. One well organized group can do a great deal.

Also learn how AP works, and how best to milk it. Make sure you stay on or near flags until it changes to your color, repair afterwards. Tag several targets in big fights. If you dealt damage to them, even if it's not your group that kills them you'll get AP for it.

It's not an overly easy task, however it is not the nigh impossible, no-life under taking the OP believes it to be.

On a real note, this achievement is more a test of skill anyway. Join a 5 day campaign, put in work, and reap the rewards.
That simple.

I mean you are wanting an EMPEROR title after all. So yes I am sorry, but this should not be given away.

People like this are the same kind of people that cried and cried about gearing up in W0W until the welfare gear system was deployed and basically made it so easy that the game became boring..

Funny thing is.... those very same people then left W0W and trash talked the game saying "it is boring" or "it is to easy"!

ESO Is Casual Scrolls Online already and the game needs to be harder than it is. I for one say leave the trophy as it is. If people like you leave because they actually have to EARN or WORK to achieve an ego buff then by all means leave.. The game would probably be better off.

To be fair...ish. I've always been under the impression the people who see this and flip out are under the impression that Emperor is somehow a unique title. As in you make emperor, and then cannot be deposed, and remain the emperor of that campaign indefinitely. As opposed to sitting in Thornblade and watching the same guy get coronated six times because the inner ring keeps kept flipping red and yellow.

Haha this doesn't make sense, just because you never can get it so they should remove it? What about the people who are actually trophy hunters and can get it, or the people who already have it, just isn't fair on them, just cause you lack the time/skill/friends to get it, just forget bout it and move on to something you can do. I want that trophy, I know I'm still a long way off cause I live in Australia and I have a full time job, so I'm not rolling in AP, but hell I when I go on holidays that what I plan to go for in non vet. End of the day, just cause you can't complete your dreams, don't crush mine.

Guess what!

You are not entitled to have every single trophy!

Achievements and trophies are for those who earned them. You dont want to work for it, you wont get it. Simple as that.

Demanding to remove something just because you wont get it is selfish and makes you look like a hole.

TL:DR

Forget going for Emperor if you don't have a spare couple of weeks without work , because it's highly unlikely to happen.

Emperor is not a measure of skill, but a measure of how much free time you have, that's why all the emperors are by & large, garbage players.

As for students being part of your "have a life" thing, they get 3-4 months in summer off... Students right now have more free time than anyone so they have no excuse.

Although I do agree with removing the trophy, if you remove the trophy along with the update which will remove the former emperor buffs, then you'll effectively stop all the emperor boosters, and *** who run into Haderus to get an easy emperor.

IMO keep some of the upper-tier trophies difficult to earn. As others have intoned, MMOs are different from SP games, as they require mechanisms to keep players on the treadmill ... unlike a SP game that is often one-and-done.

Hating me because of a post.I only give it it a try for People who are sad about this trophy. yes for me too. I assure you Zos does care about you. What concerns me is that players complain about things they find to challenging and want it nerfed or removed. I understand this is a time honored past time for many in MMOs.

I suggest looking at his to approach the task rather than to take away from the achievement of others.
