That is very constructive message - complain about complainers.
But on point - OP you are right of course. C system is very vertica, whats worse the fabled diminishing returns are minimal. I would recommend everyone who thinks cs is great - download PTS, get Vr 14 and try adding some cp do some content adding some more and so on and so on up untill 3600. Now think about that some players are closeing 1000 cp already. Thenk come back and tell me what you think.

Noone is "closing on 1000". There was one person who posted a faked screenshot. So please stop spreading this lie as if its fact.

About 20-30 vocal complainers on the forums. 1000s of people happily playing the game. I hope ZOS takes a look at that.

The number of players who use the forums vs active players is a tiny fraction. If they actually did stop listening to the vocal players on the forums who complain... Well, they would practically need shut the forum off itself. Really not a whole lot of players post here to begin with.
Hell over half the players who even voiced a complaint are banned now anyways.

ZOS needs to learn like other MMOs these people "voicing concerns" will never be happy. They hated the vet rank system. They hate the champ system. They will hate whatever if they decide to scrap both VR and CP for. They simply are never happy. Ive been playing MMOs for years and one of the biggest mistakes they make is listening to a vocal minority over the concerns of the people who are happily playing. WoW learned that the hard was losing millions of subs because they made the game too easy to level up and gear up. The hardcores quit because its too easy. The casuals quit because again its too easy they got handed everything then boredom set in.

I think your missing connection i was trying to draw, those "happy thousands" dont read/post/contribute to the forums. How are we supposed to know what they think, or even that they are in fact happy. I can 10000000% tell you there is not a single player in this game that does not have a gripe with at least one singular aspect of the game. Creating a forum thread to discuss changes is literally the entire point of a forum.

They are playing and enjoying the game as it is. You guys are constantly not playing it and always wanting drastic changes which takes resources away from content development. So do you please the people who dont play or the people who do?

I bought this game for PvP, I wanted to play inside imperial city, i can tell you i have waited a very very long time for PvP content. I have been waiting since release for my update. Nothing would make me happier than ZoS doing content patches and not balance updates. But realistically they dont have enough people working there to have a reasonable turn out rate so they settle with changing ability values and not adding content.

I agree, and the problem of serial complainers is always magnified a hundred fold in those MMOs which have a significant PvP element - simply because in any PvP encounter some players will die, and that will lead those players to blame everything but their own ability - class balance and performance being the favourite targets for their frustration together with the claim that the victors are exploiting and the developers do nothing about it. Most (not all) of the regular complaints on this forum are PvP-related.
I mean, get where you're coming from @jamesharv2005ub17_ESO, but I kinda feel like you're participating in argumentum ad hominem, and not really refuting what the people who are unhappy with the system are saying.
I tend to fall on the side of folks aren't too happy with the VR/CP system, but I am always open to opposing views. I think it would help if you expanded on why you feel these folks are wrong.

They didnt like vet ranks so ZOS listened. Spent 6 months developing the champion system. Again they didnt like it. So now yet again we are back to the drawing board. Meanwhile the game is floundering because noone is developing new content. No matter what they do some people will be unhappy with it. What I am saying to the people who are unhappy with the champion system is basically either deal with it or leave.
Maybe after they put in these zones they been delaying for a year they can work on balancing the system more.

You can't have a successful MMO that has a problem retaining players.

The reason people are leaving is the lack of content and constant nerf/buff balancing they have done for months. You retain players by constantly adding new things to do. Not constantly changing how leveling works. Not constantly messing with class skills etc. Enough already we havent had anything besides craglorn since launch. This is why people are leaving. not because of champ system or vet ranks .

@jamesharv2005ub17_ESO : you know how many CP people have, you know how many people are satisfied with the game as it is and with ZOS´ plans for the future, you know why people are leaving and at the same time you tell other people they are not in the position to know anything....
Even if you were given proof of people having enough CP to create imbalance you would neglect it. You´re not better than anyone else here, imo even worse because you complain about other users expressing their oppinion - complaining about complainers -.
