Is it always this hard to get into cyrodil?

Every campaign always full, huge ass wait times to get in, I'm talking hours? Is this how the pvp is on this game? You have to join a campaign and sit in a rediculous queue? I can't just go to cyrodil when I want? If so epic fail, only mmo I've played where I can't jump into pvp whenever I want

Here in PC-land, we don't really have such issues, as there is always one campaign where it isn't full for your alliance and you can just join without waiting. They'll eventually open more campaigns for consoles though. The current number of campaigns works fine with the PC-PvP playerbase.Dean the Cat

I'll go dig up my kill counter stats when I get home (I'm currently out of the house) and if it isn't too late when I get back. I tend to be out of the house for the whole day and only get home at 2300hrs.

DeanTheCat✭✭✭✭✭Well, to be brutally honest, we rather have full campaigns then having to choose between empty campaigns and one that has blobs spamming AoE running over anyone that isn't spamming those AoE. Namely Steel Tornado, Impulse, Caltrops, Purge, Meteor, Arrow Spray, Dawnbreaker, Bats. Add in all the Jesus beams spamming and 15k+ fragments and snipes... Well...
Still, if you are really good, you can fight these blobs and snipers either solo or in a small group, but yes, the emphasis is on "Really good".

DeanTheCat✭✭✭✭✭It's about how you look, and where you look. I play solo pretty much 90% of the time, and I have no issues whatsoever finding small scale (1v1s are rare as heck outside duel settings, there are dueling guilds out there, join one) PvP. It's just about how persistent you are in finding it.
There are "hotspots" and "transit lanes" in Cyrodiil, so you have to learn the map beforehand. Once you do though, finding small scale fights will be easy. May I recommend reading my guides? They are designed to help fresh recruits to Cyrodiil. The links are in my signature.Dean the Cat
