Honestly if you want me to respond to any of that. Try condensing your thoughts into a smaller, less ranting post. I dont even know where to begin with that mess.

For immersion and realistic purposes, I beg to differ from your opinion. In a real setting not ALL rooms or halls have clutter or decorative objects or any furniture at all whatsoever... Besides, many architectural and interior design styles are inclined towards a minimalistic approach

um, there are basically NO RPGs in existence that has that eating mechanics in it, actually no RPG has any of teh stuff you can think of.

Comparing GTA (a game that is NOT an RPG in anyway and is a compeltely different style of game) to ANY RPG is REALLY, REALLY stupid.

Literally the onyl thing that is RPG related at all is the barber shop, which IS missing but they do not seem to care.

    Completely false.

A few nexon games have many of the features he suggested.

    Eating/Weight, aging system.

A really big one I can think of right off the bat and quite well done with it, is Mabinogi.

Please don't give of random facts, that are quite indeed, no where near looked into.

The ONLY Grand Theft Auto that had that mechanic was San Andreas... that's it. And THAT was an offshoot game of GTA3. GTA IV and V left this mechanic behind.

I would prefer a Tired & Hungry debuff with a Rested and Full buff mechanic.

The only thing in Nirn that would make someone fat is Sweetrolls... and even those are likely better than the fast food junk your character ate in San Andreas.

The SIMPLE things ESO is missing are things like
    • We don't have torches
    • There are no Argonian or Khajiit Skeletons
    • We can't on chairs or benches
    • We can't lay on beds
    • We can't climb ladders
    • There are large rooms and entire balconies that are devoid of ANY environmental clutter
    • There are invisible walls blocking out paths.
    • The moon Secunda doesn't reflect on the night water
    • There are no hidden treasures behind any waterfalls
    • Traveling merchants do not have carts
    • We can't ride our horse in first person (without an add-on)
    • We can't tithe to beggars

daggerfall convanent, storm haven, chest behind waterfall ne of wayrest ;)

    Game is missing

    Something EVERY OTHER MMORPG has.

    An in game clock.

Currently I'm waiting for this "new moon", for it to become night time...
I have NO IDEA what time it is right now or how long it takes.

The simple stuff... This game is missing the simple stuff.

It's the players' fault. No one has made a sundial addon.

Also, re. your original post, someone has failed at making a fitbit addon.

    Hah, yup.
So many Add-ons not available to public.

Like chest finder, I don't see an add-on for that.
In game clock (not that map clock) but clock that shows in game current time.
    Where heck is that?

Doesn't even need to be an add-on, its really the developers fault.
    In Everquest...
    You type /time
It displays the in game current time.
In this BIG BAD NEW GRAPHICS HIGHLY EVOLVED, FULLY VOICED, MAXIMIZED EVERYTHING...

    ...

    Missing simple stuff

This game is so big and bad and massive and maximized at everything.
    Missing simple stuff
    Missing simple stuff

    BTW
This game has been out for over a year, so please don't <insert excuse for them here>
Also, I gave up trying to become a vampire the normal way. I might try again later today (perhaps late at night REAL TIME). Waiting for several minutes (20+ minutes), and not having the slightest clue if it will turn night time anytime soon.... wasting time.. I've got better things to do enough said.
Another thing, several things have changed since, I don't have all day to search how to become a vampire but #1 google search brought up this http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/64587/vampire-guide-everything-you-need-to-know-zos-please-read-the-cured-section/p1
I'm a DC player so it actually relates to me besides playing another alliance and going to the rift.
Thing is, that guide is a year old, I could be waiting hours and not a single bloodfiend show up.

AND KNOWING this game will literally not spawn something (you WILL NEVER get mail from guild trader unless you zone out or log out and log in), HOW BUGGY this game is, really took my patience away from sitting at those bloodfiend spots waiting for "THE NEW MOON, aka night time to happen".

Just reading up on that guide, pretty much told me spots and how to be a vampire the normal way and how Zenimax goes against it's lore. All good though, I just want vampire for the achievements.

    But again,
This game is missing the simple stuff
Coupled with a lot of bugs (YES there is a LOT of them)
= less patience and everytime I do something expect it not go as planned due to bugs and not being able to tell if its bugged or not because lack of simple stuff (in game clock, cant check if its night or morning or whatever, cant check for myself if this spot is bugged, not working anymore or what).

How about we focus on stuff that actually matters to players who have been here since Beta.....like Cyrodiil lag, Nirnhoned, insta-gibbing, etc.

The day we add weight gain to an MMO before fixing the issues above, is the day I stop playing MMOs.

I want player housing, player vendors, ability to craft in your home etc. I want housing like Ultima Online had housing. Boats would be nice, to go fishing on, etc. They didn't really design the land too well though for that, like they did with Ultima ONline.

My personal opinion is that the game was designed with the wrong approach from the ground up... it should have been designed as a sandbox-style MMO like UO, EVE or ArcheAge from the start. Now they are trying to add sandbox elements (seemingly due to players requesting it) into an already finished game that was designed as a theme park MMO at the start and according to the way I am reading ZOS' feedback in posts, live streams etc. a lot of the sandbox things the players are asking for seem to be too much work or hassle to put in, like player housing and underwater exploration.

I feel that by selectively adding a few sandbox elements like a partial justice system but leaving out important ones such as player housing, underwater exploration, open world (meaning a world in which you can travel into other faction's zones and PVP and not just in a veteran rendition of it), farming and spell crafting for example the game will in the end feel too much like it's neither here or there...there is a lot of tension on these forums from players wanting more sandbox elements (I for one would love to see this as a Sandbox-style MMO) as well as some new, immersive story content.

It has been nearly (seven?) months without any significantly new zones/dungeons or significant quests/story lines added to the game. Depending on the resources of the developers, I would think (I might be wrong though) that if more focus is given to Sandbox-style elements and game play, then the story content would progress much slower and would perhaps tie-in or revolve around the sandbox elements in some way, for instance by primarily providing a valuable crafting resource.

On the other hand, as currently seems to be the case, more focus could be given on developing story content and new zones/ dungeons and quests etc, which a lot of people also want.

I personally would like to see this game with all the sandbox bells and whistles as well as amazingly designed zones with intriguing quests (and dungeons/trials) that tie into the sandbox elements, for example, something like this:

Performing the black sacrament in your house in Vvardenfell, having another player in the dark brotherhood faction getting a quest from a quest board with the assassination that you want performed: a rival player in a rival guild in your faction, with a farm near Whiterun. Unfortunately for you, the assassination fails, and you now have a bounty on your head. The guards catch you and you accept arrest, whereupon you are sent to face a jury of several other players; you are found guilty and now have to spend 20 real-life minutes in prison - you manage to escape (the prison would be like a hard delve), fleeing on your Senche-tiger mount, and set sail for a neutral territory where the guards do not know you and you are safe for the meanwhile...

In conclusion, I think that ZOS has a crowd of players that goes through the entire spectrum of theme park vs. sandbox -types to please and I hope that they will find a way to add as many sandbox elements in so as not to make the remainder of the players too unhappy. This game reeks with potential that is underutilised i.e. an MMO derived from a hugely successful sandbox-RPG franchise, but ultimately I feel that many of the things people want might never get added because of the way the base game was designed. Now just for me to sit in hope and wait that ZOS proves me wrong! ;)

If it was not for the eso skin on this themepark mmo it would of set a record for quickest death of an mmo since Warhammer.

This is TRUTH... and I say, If you wanted to make a TES MMO... Make it a Elder Scrolls game FIRST.

At least then it'll be a UNIQUE MMO.

    It's a beautiful skin.

Too bad what's under the hood is a twisted wreck of an engine.

But. It's very beautiful looking on the outside. Take time to admire the sunset in game just don't expect to share the moment with someone else as the weather is not shared, they might be standing in rain.
