I am hoping they are considering a way of breaking the voip into multiple servers or "channels" to allow more separation. It would be nice if the voice chat system could auto create a group/guild/raid channel based on the current situation.
Aww, don't be like this. They tried to kill a netch in a group of four, they had to use only light attacks or it wouldn't have gone down in a second.I Highlander l wrote: »
In literally EVERY VIDEO ZOS makes the freaking characters MAIN ATTACK is a freaking LIGHT ATTACK.
what the .....
I think somebody should tell ZOS how to use skills.
This might be a good topic for ZOS folks to do an article on. Educate the masses!

I used it once! I said hello. The person ran away.
Now my quick select is just the essential emotes. Dance Argonian. Lean Wall. Juggle Fire. Rake. Play Dead. Sit 3...
You know most console players probably don't know about the quick chat function to use.So give people the benefit of the doubt .
The adding people to guilds I will agree with they need to add a way to invite players quicker.
Lmao yea well we tried to tell em, again.ItsRejectz wrote: »Got a video in going to upload to YouTube showing this, but all forms of chat in the console version are bad. I've had to resort to going in an xbox live party in my own, because I was spending more time muting players. I either had kinects to close to the tv, kids screaming, music and best of all, a group of people all speaking languages u don't understand.
Initially I was trying to recruit for our guild, which is almost impossible! Because the first thing is being heard over all the noise, the second part is having to write gamertags as there is no easy way off adding them.

Seriously ZOS, something needs to change drastically.

The best part about this is that it is probably more than marketing drivel.
It is probably how they genuinely imagined it working.

You can just leave the area channel in voice chat instead of such an odd workaround.
My first experience with voice went pretty much as I feared.
Started a new character, in the prison.
As Lyris was talking to me with quest instructions, someone shouted loudly about potions drowning her out.
This happened 3 times.
As I was wondering around looting stuff, I was looting near where Cadwell is, I then heard a muffled but loud echoey Cadwell giving someone else quest instructions that were obviously coming out of their TV speakers straight into their mike.
Finally I was ready to listen to Cadwell, I hear him say about 3 words then I hear a man and a woman shouting at each other in what I think was German, sounded like he was yelling at her while she was in another room, again drowning out everything Cadwell was saying.
Totally ruining any immersion for me.
My only choice, put player voice volume to 0 and have zero way of communication.
